So I've started a hugelkultur project, super fun and so full of life. I'll start by saying that it is indoor and I left one end open so I could see the layers as they decay. I have a cover crop of mostly white clover and a little alfalfa. So far no deficiencies, I did have an issue with moisture as I let the logs dry a little after I dragged them out of the forest should have started while they were still damp. But the dryness caused some issues with the health of my cover crop at first but it has definitely come around. I buried the logs in stalks and branches of old ass mother plants and fan leaf debris along with compost and forest humus and castings and. A mix of coco and perlite, then a lastly my homemade super soil that I used on my outdoor Auto grow this last summer. But anyway I have planted some seeds and they are just over 2 weeks old and looking amazing, they are Bobby's widow by mandalorian genetics. Beautiful plants, healthy and happy. My intentions are to breed them forward to have a nice stock of Bobby's seeds, so I have killed all but one Male that I have selected as my stud and I only had one runt in the pack. I'm quite impressed with the growth rate and vigor of these plants. Super strong genetics, props to the mandalorian boys! I'm also a long time reader not a big poster, this is my first real post on the forum. I want to say how awesome this community is, and I look forward to sharing and contributing any info on organic growing I can!

Cooler than cool! I will also pull up a chair. :pop:

Update, holy cow man these genetics are strong. They grow so well and don't want for anything, I hope I can expect this with my other packs from mandalorian genetics.

They are starting to stretch, and the females are untrained and almost have a perfectly level canopy on there own, super cool I thought. They are starting to get a lil smelly as well :eyebrows:

And I got a couple close ups of my star female and Male before I mowed my cover crop.
The Male, name: Jimmy

Jimmy is a handsome devil, nice leggy and full of pollen. And eagerly awaits his big night with his room full of ladies.:shooty:
Now the female, name: Lucille

Lucy is one hot ticket, she she ain't tall that's for sure. Thicker than a snicker and her stems stank like no ones business, and she's just beggin to be pollinated

Oh Jimmy

He's lookin studly. Flowers seem to be developing from the bottom up, interesting. I've never grown a male this long, so this whole new flower cycle is pretty new to me. Seems to be healthy though!

Close up of his most developed flowers, kinda cool lookin really. I like the stiff structure and speed of this Male easily the most vigorous.
