My old dealer has just got in touch. He want to know how to grow. How much do you think this info is worth, after all he could look up the internet to find info (and find this site is hes lucky), and he is a bussiness man

A friend of a friend has about 5 guys he "helps" out, he did their set up and he goes to their grows once a week or so to monitor and advise. he takes 1/4 of the yield as his payment as agreed. This add's up over 5 grows decent size grows lol, smart guy, no overheads, no / low risk.. good wokl if you can get it lol. So he's a businessman, he'd be up for negotiating. work smarter, not harder lol.

I would advise telling him to join a forum and I would not associate with his grow.

Unless one gets caught and says I know someone who operates 4 other grows.. Unless you're in a recreational or medical state then go for it!

The first rule of a grow is' dont tell anyone', so vis-a-vis 'dont know about anyone else grow'. I havnt got the balls to get involved in a commercial grow, the punishment for getting caught is too harsh, and the risk of having other people involved is to high. I love chatting on here, and would love to know anouther grower in the real world; share a smoke, and compare techniques and ideas

Absolutely. They want the intensive part, education, done for them, it's not worth any amount. You will be tied to that person. Had someone try the same thing. Even to the point of saying ok you cultivate for me and I'll take half, just for existing I guess. I try and associate with medical patients online, but everyone local can NOT be trusted.Woolly is right let them join a forum like the rest of us.

Part of what I do for a living involves cyber security and we use a term "attack surface" to describe how vulnerable a system or application is based on how many vectors of vulnerability there are. This dealer would have a much larger attack surface(i.e. chance of getting busted) and so unless you want to explain why your phone number appears so often in his call logs, or why you've been seen at his home, etc. If you look at every action(telling a friend about your grow, traveling with a lot of bud, shopping at a well known hydro store, electricity usage, etc.) as a vulnerability you'll have a much easier time of keeping yourself safe.
