Grow Room The Cab in the Woods | Dutch Passion DP & WW

Just an idea, as your fan is already outside, you could also have your filter outside too I.e blowing through the filter. Possibly freeing up another foot. I had an external filter on all my cabinets untill I got a tent and it worked ok.

I guess 14g from the pair :)

14g would be really nice! :Sharing One:

I've thought about this too, but I find sucking through the filter more convenient in that I can be sure 100% of the air that exits the cabinet goes through the filter. Fans should generally also fare better sucking the air. Not saying it wouldn't work but I don't mind a little challenge! :stylez rasta smoke:

My next grow will be all 1 liter air-pots (3 plants) and I'll have the Blackstar 100W so I hope I'll have less need for vertical space. I wouldn't be surprised if the Blackstar actually put out less heat than the Chinese light I have now.

To chop or not to chop... Opinions?
I was originally planning on chopping tomorrow but after being away for three days I noticed a few fox tails had gotten just a little bit longer which throws me off. Both have a fair amount of amber on the buds already and other than for the few odd fox tails and some new pistils no swelling seems to be taking place anymore. The White Widow is smelling so delicious that my mouth actually starts to water the second I open the cab. The Durban smells beautifully dank too but nothing that special.

Also, I rolled some nice looking one gram joints on Sunday and just thought I'd share. :smoke:

EDIT: Seems like I was wrong. I compared the the pics from the ones I took at day 64 and WOW. They really have gained weight considerably since then. I'll let them go till Monday and go from there.

How many days do you have into the grow? I try to go the distance on my grows but I think that I wait too long sometimes which I believe waiting has contributed to instances of bud rot. The plants look great to me. Nice job! :slap:

I've had the days from sprout count as the title on every post with pics. This time I forgot, I'll add it up there. Thanks!!

hi WW,

awesome looking grow there

just a question i see you use blumat podsbut they are differrent fromthe ones i have.. can your be regulated too and extended so you can make up to 4 dripplet points from one pod?

these are the ones i use ;)

https://blumatsystems.com/ have had great yields in the past with them but only did regular strains back then.. last grow was about 12-13 years ago ;) but wanna grow a few again this year just as a hobby ;)

Hey man!

The Tropf-Blumats you're using are just a more sophisticated and I guess you could say improved version of the ones of I have. Mine can only be run in the config I'm using now which is water through a single tube through a single cone. I think the caps are upgradeable to the same drip system, though, but I like to keep it simple - these are working perfectly for me and I really don't see myself going back to hand watering any time soon.

Give me a heads up when you start your grow and be sure to make a journal!

had a hard time getting my system right the first grow used them (had a couple of times pots too dry and a couple of times a bloody dripper didnt stopanddrewempty my reservoir) but for my last grow it really did wonders and had colas from elbow to fingertip and also very healthy plants cause they always got just the water they used:)

will surely make a journal here from my grow and hope mine will turn up at least half as nice as yours WW and ill be walking with a big grinn all day "JM's a Hippy"

The plants are now ready and due for harvest tomorrow!
They'll be kept in the dark for about 16 hours after which I'll probably cut them with a Dremel; I used scissors last time and it was horrible :roflcry:

The White Widow is not looking so hot. However, the trichomes on her are exceptionally beautiful. And the smell is out of this world...

...but the Durban Poison takes the cake. I really don't have any words.

I'll upload some harvest pics tomorrow. My scale broke so I can't give any wet/dry weights until the new one arrives.

Harvest at last!
:woohoo:

The Dremel worked a treat even though my reinforced 426 blade was trashed and I had to use the 409. After the cut the whole place smelled like burnt coffee beans...

Trimming was really easy. Fan leaves generally had nothing on them and I cut them all off. Sugar leaves on the other hand were covered with trichs so I didn't even have to cut the tips. The dark period and quick separation of the root ball really did wonders for the smell. Interestingly the Durban Poison had acquired a strong smell of orange whereas the White Widow's vanilla scent had transformed into something I can't put my finger on... Close to some really pungent berries, I'd say.

My final estimation of the yield is 10-12g. A very nice little harvest all things considered. I'll be post the dry weight when I receive my new scale.
Next round I'll have a better light as well as three plants in one liter pots. Strains will be HSO Blue Dream auto, Dinafem Blue Kush auto and Dinafem White Widow auto.
This grow taught me a lot and I'm really excited for the next one! Hopefully I'll see you there!
