Hi kind friends,

Please help me, I need to decide TODAY if it's harvest day, as the attached plant is having some issues probably related to the weather (wet/humid) we've been having "here" :WTF:. Some parts of the top are turning mushy and even browning. Can you please look at these photos and tell me if it's time to pick her? I've indicated on the attached pix where the mush/browning problem exists. This plant looks much less healthy than my other 2 current grows, but it's also the most stressed, having my a$$hole friend defoliate them without knowing what he's doing.

I'm scheduled for major surgery in 1 week...long story short, I've been growing currently 3 autos that are approaching their 9th week of life (62 days currently). Was growing at friends location outside, but he's been screwing with the plants after telling me he wouldn't...anyway, the attached is a Barney's Farm Grape Muerto and the pix are of the cola. My surgery will have me laid up for several weeks, so if it's time to pick, i'd like to get the drying/curing process moving while I'm still up and about. If I start to water cure today, I'll have a fresh stock for the surgical pain next week.

Always appreciate the input, thanks in advance. Will post 2 more plant pix later (another grape and a pyramid caucasian widow), that are less imperative.

Thanks!!!! :tiphat:

If you are having surgery in a week, then to me, it sounds like you don't have a choice but to take them down, even if they aren't completely done. Are you gonna trust the person who was supposed to be leaving them alone, with harvesting and doing a good job with the cure:no:. Sending you some:karma Cloud: kharma smoke, to help you get through your surgery:smokebuds:

Thanks stylez. I rescued the plants from his location about a week ago, so they are firmly under my control now. However, being on crutches for 4 weeks is going to limit my ability to access them. Thinking I'll chop this one and let the other 2 go a bit longer--i'll post pix of them in a new thread later. Appreciate the input. Need to find a new grow buddy.

Best of luck with your surgery:stylez rasta smoke: and your harvest

I agree. Don't hack all of them. Even if somewhat over the mature level....it'll provide much needed pain relief, couch lock in your recuperation. Speedy recovery to you.

Thank you both for the advice and the well wishes. Much appreciated. This is such a friendly board, glad I'm part of it.
