Also, I don't put much faith in this administrations words. This coming from the same guy that said he wouldn't waste the DEA's time on medical states and then cracking down on them worst than the Republicans of previous. They need to do more than just talk.

So many mixed messages being sent by this administration regarding their drug policies. They have already spend more money in 4.5 years than Bush spent in 8 fighting "the war on drugs", then turn around and make an announcement like this? Just reschedule MJ and get it over with already. Then stop arresting people. Won't matter what the minimum sentence is then.

A little everyday brother...... First dispensaries just opened in my state, Big names are flipping sides. Besides his statements on absolving mandatory sentancing the body of his speech I believe had alot to do with laying off the states where the people have made their voices heard to legalize weed. It sounds like both sides of gov are behind this. International acceptance is growing monthly. The winds are picking up speed brother soon everyone will hear them.
