LOL I tried to do my first run in co co for the 32oz comp LOL one died the other was going so slow i didn't even put my name back up when they asked who was in the comp the 2nd time lo but i started putting nutes in and boom it now starting to move up fast.I also got frustrated a bit and neglected it after its slow start but after reading your post i wont give up just like u! lol I wont let some dam CO CO fiber beat me!CATCHY PERSEVERANCE REP!

So it's not necessarily the Coco beating you than the negative bs that comes to mind... the #1 thing NOT to do is to get frustrated and neglect the babies further... Have your little moment and then move on lol You know I look at it like this too... when I played baseball... when you make an error, you shake it off and forget about it. Because you got the rest of the game to play. And if I throw in the towel in the first innning then what good am I to the team? It's not the seedling's fault at all... it's my own so I gotta own it! LOL And seeing improvements are also a bonus!!

The first pic is the pic from yesterday then this afternoon's pic. So far the Blue Dream and the Green Poison are getting Greener the fastest. So I'm hoping the rest aren't too far behind...

It's not tremendous growth but at least we're moving forward... hopefully once they dry out and get another feeding they will start to really take off... :smokebuds:

I thought that slow start was strain related, but it could be a coco thing too. Once the roots have volume they eat and grow like crazy, though. I'm feeding the roots in hydroton 0,7 oz/13 oz cup a day + what they get from moist coco. And they're only day 40.

I'm sorry for not being around much, Rebel. I'm going through some strange stuff now, myself. I've been letting it drag me down. Today my wife gave me a sweet reminder, though, and I'd like to remind you too my brother, if you'll allow it.
She reminded me that I am a brilliant diamond, just like you, Rebel. From what I've read here just catching up, it seems you've let your brilliance become dulled by a bit of condensation, just like my wife said that I let happen to me. She said for me to stop trying to force the condensation to dry. But rather to just see the light again and bathe in it and reflect and let the light dry away the condensation. To watch it just naturally fade away in whisps as the brilliance shines through again.
That's the nutshell version. IOU 1 PM! I have much to share with you. Much Love to you and Mrs. Rebel. :hug:

Lookin good Reb you will get the hang of this coco your to good of a grower not to. You will bounce back and these plants will turn out some monsters with big ass buds everywhere.

To me buffer means add some damn Nuttients to it so u have a Fast start ...Lol ..
Brudda Reb I did 40% permits ...and the Root ball was still webbed and dense as all hell bro ...

I would suggest getting a good rooting hormone maybe and that will get em down fast

Photo update looking good. Once they get the N going the green will be vibrant. I anticipate that they will surprise you within the next two weeks.

I'll be watching the progress. We are in the same boat. I did give some pre-conditioning nutes to the soil and is it ever hard not to want to water daily.

Well, it's definitely pre washed so no buffering there.. But Initial Feeding.. YES! I neglected that thus my Slow Start... What's 40% permits bro? I wonder if Voodoo Juice would be a good rooting hormone...

Thanks Alan! Got your PM and I will get back to you soon my friend. I think you're 100% right because they practically doubled in size since yesterday... I was shocked to say the least this afternoon when seeing them for the first time since late last night... You will probably get a better start than me than if you gave it nutes right away! And indeed it is hard not to water daily... especially when I used to have to with Promix BX (the first week anyway)... Thanks bro I'll get back to you asap...


So today we saw double the growth as compared to yesterday... I am getting happier and more confident with the Coco now as I'm getting to better understand it and what I did wrong... I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow for comparison... Thanks again for everyone's reassurance and guidance!! You guys are the BEST. :hug:
