Lighting My First Grow - Northern Lights Blue

Decisions, decisions... LOL Whatever you decide, have fun and Happy Growing! :smokebuds:

Thanks man! :smokebuds:

Go for the first option bro and if you think 2 is to much just get the second tent.

Practical as ever Tang ;) Any word on when those upgrades will be available for the lights? I emailed GN a couple weeks back but they said they still weren't available to the public. I'd love to have two units fitted with the upgrades ready for my next grow! :peace:

I know I said I would leave the photo update until next week but I wanted (had) to share these. Had to feed the little ones earlier so snapped a few bud shots from the biggest girl. Please enjoy :peace:

Lots of people use those jewellers lenses, and they're good, but also see if you can't find a "mini microscope with LED". They're probably called something different. I don't remember. But they're cool and are real cheap, too.

Thanks so much man, once I inspected the photos I shocked myself! Didn't expect my first grow to produce anything like that, my housemate thought I was looking at all of the usual beauties on this site and was equally shocked to realise it was my plant :P I think it has more to do with how the camera picked up the light but it is definitely beautiful, in my opinion :D
I saw those small LED scopes on amazon too, as long as its under a tenner thats fine with me - thanks for the input! :peace:

Well 2 tents is a good idea to me i think..have one for breeding or veg..get a t5 or cfl for veg save money on a new LED then use the LED tent for flower that way you can have 2 tents going in tandem if you have the loot go led.something to think about..PLUS soon you will be trying to get off the seed wagon and only get new strains for crosses or testing ect.Its just a natural progression i think to go from grower to breeder.

Thanks for the input bro, I can see what you are saying and thats why there was a second option of having two tents. I think I'm gonna buy the LED panel first when I can afford it, would cost me more to duplicate my current set up though so hopefully the 80x80 tent will be sufficient for two MS0006s. Think I need to get a few grows under my belt and all dialled in before I start moving away from grower to breeder, not super confident yet - but it is definitely something to think about. :peace:

Hey guys, this is open to anyone that can help:

I've just read the following: "Feed once every 2-3 waterings through the vegetative cycle ensuring that 10%-20% run-off is achieved each time." this is regarding the nutes I am using for this grow..I'm not sure if I've been stupid and found this information really late but I've been feeding with every water (after the first 2 weeks) do you reckon I should start introducing water only feeds in between using these organic nutes? Any help will be greatly appreciated, it says the same for the bloom nutes too. :peace:
