Grow Room My grow box

After germinating my dinafem white widow auto & and a barneys farm pineapple express auto i decided to start my grow diary. My box is about 60cm from bottem to the lights, 80cm wide and 40cm deep. Its a converted cabinet which still has the top section free for storage. As much as id like the extra room. My room is so small i need that tiny bit of storage for the rest of my crap haha.

Am i going to have problems with my plants being so fsr away from the lights to start with? Im runnin 6 CFLS 3daylight 3warm white

Use DVD cases to stack up your plants, or CD cases, they work great because taking one at a time as the plant grows is perfect and no hassle. I would keep them as close as possible just check ur temps, I'd try for within 6"of the plants at least.

As they grow just try to manipulate your setup to get light to reach most of the plant. Lst is a beautiful thing.

Thanks dude! Thats a pretty good idea. Put the pots on a stack of DVDs this morning sitting a quite close to the light now. Just playing the waiting game now for the them to shoot up out the dirt

Hey Dr Dank setup looks good try and keep the lights around 4-6" from the top of the plants untill full flower then you can drop them as low as 2" with the CFLs are you running 3x 6500 and 3x 2700k a mixed spectrum gives good results. Thats what i started growing with last year:smokebuds:

Thanks dude ive tried to make it as neatly as possible to make it abit stealthy. Need to do a little bit of light proofing around the doors, but right now im keeping it on 24/7 until my seedlings pop up. Is this a good idea? Then ill be going to 18/6. Yeah im running 3 6500K 2 of them 25w and 1 65w and 3 2400K 2 of them 45w and 1 20w. I grew a single green house seeds green-o-matic last year with just the 25w's and the 20w and that came out okay got around 24g dry

Yeah the box is nice, I'm all about that stealth look. I'm kinda jealous, the only box I had that blended in with my room is tiny so I'm dealing with that whole mess right now. Just curious, what are your temps at up that close to the lights?

Ive only been up and running properly the last 2 days. Got 6 pc fans 3 extracting heat by the lights and 3 blowing air in at the bottom. Been ranging between 26C and 29C all dependant on how warm the day has been to as my room faces the sun most of the morning so the room itself is always pretty toasty
