Thanks bro little bit of luck I guess helped buds weren’t super fat and dense. I have a larger 60pt dehumidifier that keeps my whole basement rh in check plus I live in the NE and it was winter time so our rh was super low to begin with my lung room hasn’t been over 48% since October November. Only one exhaust fan running on medium and one fan blowing across the canopy constantly. Never kept tent open unless I was working in there cause the door held half her up lol

Id have to say timing and genetics were your biggest allies in keeping mould at bay. NE in the summertime with a fat bud plant in the same conditions would be a nightmare!

Yeah it depends i press most everything so it either get a light trim and just pressed or I’ll throw it all in a freezer bag in the freezer with my trim which is what has been happening lately til im ready to wash some hash. I got a few bags in the freezer ready to be washed

Does the freezing work better? And do you freeze it immediately or does it need to dry first?

Yes it will work better colder the better makes the heads more brittle and break off easier. You can do it most any way freezing it fresh off the plant makes "fresh frozen" anything after that is just frozen. I freeze mine after a half to full dry typically I dry for 5 days ish then trim and brown bag for another day or two. Trim gets frozen when trim so mostly dry the fresher it is the lighter the color and the more terps you get

Well she had been curing up for a couple weeks now finished off pressing most of her gave the rest to the wife for flower. I didn't get as much as I expected around 300 grams cause buds never got huge just lots of them and little larfy. Press some a few days ago been dabbing on that it was really good funky gassy flavor pretty strong heavy high makes me not want to move. First time I pressed at 180f got around 15% return with a nice light color this time I pressed at 200f got 18% return but darker color but still hits all the same

Damn 18% pretty damn good for airyish bud.Got one drying right now that finished growing rock hard, i'm talking no squish at all.Bud turned so larfy you could damn near see thru it.

Yup airy buds do tend to press well there’s more surface area for trichomes dense buds don’t always press well but sometimes they do. I don’t have a problem with airy buds for the most part the dense buds worry me more I’ve had more of them mold before I even get to harvest cause they get so thick and dense
