Hey guys

new question. My tap water is soft.

17.56mg cal/L
1.01mg mag/L

am I gonna need a supplement?

thanksin advance for the help

Quick answer would be yes but a lot of factors. I would use an EC meter and check the PPMs of your tap...a quick converter I found (don’t know if it’s anywhere close to accurate or true) would mean your water is only about 18-20 ppm which has little nutrient value. Also depends on what medium you’re in, if coco then I’d recommend yes regardless. If you’re in rich or super soils then no, obviously lol.

I’m using Biobizz light mix. Germed seed popped into 12 lt pot yesterday so waiting on the wee sprout to show
Gave it 1ltr + 4ml root juice yesterday. Only declorinated water I had. and another 2ltr + 8ml root juice tonight. Medium defo moist now.

not planning on giving it anything else soon.

hope I’ve not made an arse of it

Def will need to supplement after a week or two, but never used the Bizz so someone with experience can chime in. Biobizz Light is mostly peat and perlite from what I could find so very little nute content…the Biobizz and seed itself have enough nutrients to get it through seedling stage though. Right now it’s not going to drink a lot so you’ve given plenty water  cheers and good luck growmie!
:vibes:

Never used Bizz either, but you need to consider what's already in the nutrient line you plan on using....and look for info on growing with that line as far as extra supplements..
Quite a few write ups in the nute section can help ya out.

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah planning on taking the less is more approach with nutes. Going fish mix and bio bloom for cycle half measures unless I see deficiencies

had a feeling I would need cal mag though so didn’t want to wait to stress plant when I could pre empt it if you know what I mean.

first grow so winging it abit. what do you guys think about bio tabs instead of liquid nutes? For future plants possibly.
Thanks again

I looked at those to use in my autopots to try for a water only grow but doesn't really give a more detailed description as to what all it contains....The MegaCrop 1 part I normally use plus MoG's detailed analysis on it has done me well following his recommendation of adding 0.5 gram epsom salt per gal.......tried a run using AN's PH perfect line and got 2 of my plants all screwy so I'm going back to what works for me.
