I grow autoflowers in 5 gal "squat" Root Trapper II containers under a 315W CMH light.
I have a small garden 3x3x7ft

I really like Mother Earth "Groundswell" which I mix in Hydroton clay pebbles and EWC.
Last few grows I have used Mephisto Super Soil and also tried Kindsoil on others.
I want to try something besides KS or MSS now.

I am considering using the dry nutrient "Uprising" series from Root Organics.

Also feeding Xtreme Gardening "Mykos" and some molasses.

What would you suggest the application be rate for the Root Organics be for autos?
Pre-mix or top dressing?

I also have a bottle of RO HPK I can utilize.

Any advice along these lines is welcomed.
Thanks

Oh...and will the RO dry packs fulfill my cal/mag needs?

ON EDIT...

I may just go with Buddah Grow, Buddah Bloom, and CalMag. Plus the Mykos, molasses, and a maybe a little HPK near the end.
Keeping it real simple.

Roots Organic Uprising dry nutes are outstanding. All you need is a decent bagged soil like Roots Organic normal, Fox Farm or Biobizz and the Uprising nutes. Look back at my post history and you can see how much I used. You can also just top dress with it.

Thank you!

OBTW...What are MosquitoDunks?

Those are little chunks, kind of look like rabbit food, that contain beneficial bacteria that kills fungus gnat larva. These are a must have, as far as I'm concerned. You mix some into your soil blend, primarily in the top layer, and it is a long-term preventative for all fungus gnats, which are super common. Works like a charm. If you already have fungus gnats, you can mix them in and it will kill them within a few weeks.

I'd also get yourself a good microbial innoculant like Great White, Recharge or Mammoth P. If I had to choose just one, it would probably be Great White. Basically they help you stock your soil with beneficial bacteria, fungus spores and the like. Earthworm castings are also an invaluable resource.

Good to know.
I've never had bugs or fungal diseases.

I will add that I have had worms on my outdoor girls. BT spray stopped them.

What roots uprising is it ? I use three different types. One is the uprising grow, one is uprising foundation , and one is uprising bloom . The uprising grow listed in their 2018 product catalog suggests one tablespoon at week one and three. The uprising foundation suggests a guideline of week one and three in veg and one and three in bloom. The uprising bloom is listed as for week 4 veg and week two and three for bloom all one tablespoon. I have been using their products on my last 3 or 4 grows and I have sprinkled it on top . I am growing photos in 5 gallon buckets with the roots original potting soil . I have a grow in the photoperiod section titled gorilla glue week 6 . I have had great grows so far zero problems all indoors .
