Based on research I think the plants [one worse than the other] are experiencing a calcium deficiency. I've been playing catch up since week 5 due to being a little late on the feeding.

Plants are at 52 days old and roughly 2 weeks into flower.

They're both drinking 2 1/2 litres morning and evening and I've been feeding [per litre] 1ml biobizz grow, 2ml of biobizz bloom and 0.75ml of Plant Magic Magne Cal+.

Help and advice required - specifically what do I do to address the issue at this stage of the grow? [How will it affect yield???]

Thanks in advance.

Harry

Looks like they need some PK to me, you got a bloom booster?

I have some Plant Magic Platinum that I've only used once so far.....about 2 weeks ago!

Ought I be adding this to every watering?

I dont know the nutes but this is the stage now where she will require PK

Product description:

Plant Magic Platinum is a highly concentrated flowering / fruiting PK booster with a difference. Unlike most PK boosters on the market, Plant Magic Platinum contains double the amount of potassium to phosphorus which is shown to really boost your flowers and fruits to their full potential, often enabling fruits to develop a dense structure whilst enhancing flavour, aroma, and increasing sugar production.

As well as containing phosphorus and potassium, Plant Magic Platinum also contains a small amount of nitrogen to maintain plant health and keep the nutritional / element balance at an optimal level. The actual NPK ratio of Platinum is 3.8 – 13 – 26.

As well as standard NPK it is packed full of complex beneficial bio-stimulants, amino acids, and high levels of sulphur, all of which help make Platinum an exciting PK booster that should give you fantastic results.

Saw this over in LS, can you take a pic of an affected leaf for more detail please?
pH is stable and in range?

Thanks for responding RG.

Will have to take a few more photos in the morning.

Unsure of PH and no means to measure it. I'm using a 70/30 ratio of biobizz all mix and light mix and I've added Ecothrive Charge & Biosys as recommended.

I was certainly slow on starting the nutrients thinking the soil and the Ecothrive products would be good for 5 weeks. Ought to have commenced feeding the grow a couple of weeks earlier and thinking I'm playing catch up?

Hmmmm I am just curious about your issues as there looks to be more than one. I sometimes shy from recommendations as it is tricky to do it online, I mean pests are pests. But some of these other issues. I want to test the pH, look at the roots, smell the soil (Ya I'm that person).
I highly recommend you get a soil probe, the one recommended is called a "accurate 8" I think?? You can get generic versions for cheaper than the named brand, but I know little about it. I do need one for my AutoPots and outdoor stuff tho.@Waira is the soil guy I'm the hydro monkey :crying:
I just always worry about pH first, it can cause lock out and multiple issues that more or less nutrients won't help with. I do notice some burning on your leaf tips and a bit of clawing. Signs of too much nutrients.

What water source do you have? That can wreck havoc too. Is it well water, city. RO?

I'm really leaning towards your water/pH any way you can pick up a probe?

Thanks for the detailed response.

I haven't the funds to obtain a soil probe and won't have until next Wednesday.

I think I have, at times, over fed them although not too much based on appearance. Water is from the tap and is left for 24 hours minimum before use - PH 7.54

I was very late on the feed thinking the biobizz soil and fertiliser would see me through to week 5. I clearly underestimated that! I've been playing catch up ever since though lack of calcium appears to be the major issue - Appears as in this is my 3rd grow and I've not experienced this problem before.
