One of the cools things is my environment sucks...10-25%Rh through the entire grow. 90degrees at the top of the cab(i have to place fans improperly at the far end because this unit run in the living room and its 3 feet from a couch where folks sit and watch TV....hahahaha)

We'll soon find out. I only have 4 feet of clearance from the top of the tank.. :smoking:
I am not sure if it depends on the driver or not, but you should be able to hack a poteniometer into one of the leads going to the cob and vary the brightness. If you keep it below full intensity, this will help extend the life of the chip, too.
Where at?
On their site, through amazon..etc etc? My old portable (that'll remain nameless because it's an old version of something on here) decided to commit suicide yesterday by hopping out of my pocket while I was on my roof... A three story fall on to concrete certainly didn't do it well...
Needless to say, I'm looking for a new one. @912GreenSkell
The only "extreme" I've found is the extreme-q. Same one?

Yeah i dont know a whole hell of alot about the newest lighting systems I did do some research on this when i was setting up my stealth cab, and considered making my own, but in the end i went with a prefab unit and its working fine. I would say for sure if i custom built cobs for my space my Grams Per Watt would be higher, but then again so would entry cost!
