Every so often this hibiscus blesses us with a flower or two . They don't last very long and there's never any more than 2 or 3 and then that's the last for another year or longer depending on her mood . She's such a delicate looking thing but as tough as boot leather and I prune her when she gets unruly but she bounces back every time . My mom had her for years and I inherited her when my mom passed .

Good stuff 9Bear, For a short time in the 60's my mom and dad owned a brand new home in a brand new suburb. She had planted a tree in the front yard that grew over the decades to be impressive. We didn't have the house for long but she always talked about the tree rather than the house over the years. She's been gone a long time but the tree was always there on Google earth for us to visit when thinking about her. Until this past fall. The house changed hands again and I guess the new owner didn't like trees The SOB chopped it.
