Did you rinse the tank? Maybe excess mould release residue?

I tend to rinse any new plastic components before use in warm water and dry with a lint free cloth

First time using this tank... brand new out of the box. Distilled water only. Sitting in the same tent with a very healthy lady. So I don't think its an environmental factor. There is a pretty significant event I should mention: Last week I had to toss the dead Diesel seedling from the same tank, and started the LR#2. In hindsight, that was likely where things broke down. I assumed the Diesel was just a bad seed. With this latest result, I am having my doubts.

A mitigating factor is that I'd rather have a GG#4 in there than a LR#2. So I think i'll give it a few more days, and if it doesn't perk up by day 10, I think I'll give the tank a real cleaning and start the GG.

Are you starting them differently than you did others?

Yeah I did clean it before using it, so you may be right. I can't think of anything else it could be besides something in the water. Assuming the seed really was viable.

Nope. The exact same process.

If my GG4 goes 11 weeks, I may get close to 3/4 of a lb. That's my youngest one on the left...

Although I doubt she will, If this is the start of her showing fall colors...
