At what point am I safe to say that pre-flowering has begun.. as soon as I see some pistils at branch nodes? Or until some budsites start to puff up?

I'd like to think I'm in preflower at week 4. Would give me some confidence that this thing might actually finish according to breeders time, which would be a welcome change from the first go.

I’ve seen some 8 week plants go too week 13.... lol all depends on how ypur feeding your girls, they need a pk blast aswell in a certain week.

This little lady needs to hurry up and mature... Almost every bud on her is the size of a golf ball, and covered in white "hair"... She started frosting up last week, and man lemme tell you what... She stinks. Like, you dipped a dead skunk's butt in diesel fuel then poured lemon juice on it...

This one hit her 8 week mark. White "hairs" are turning orange/brown, So hopefully she'll be ready to chop next week.

I never used a PK blast.
I just let them grow, and feed them when they're hungry.

As much as I would love to yank nearly a kilo of kind off one plant, I agree with @Rev. Green Genes - It seems like its to expensive from a resource perspective. Would be fun to try, though.

Outdoor photos dirt cheap to pull 2 or more kilos per plant...i spent about $250US on nutrients last year.....and pulled a shitload of weed from 4 plants

I had one go 15 last time....

So.... what "certain week" do I need to give it the ol' PK injection? So far she's been eating well, and looks pretty healthy overall. Latest pics here.

I don't doubt it. I live on a 10 acre farm. Were I able to grow outdoors, you can bet your life savings (and mine) that I would absolutely be growing outdoors. It's just too visible from the road, which is a real let down.
