Hey all,
I'm new to growing indoors entirely, I've only ever grown outdoors, so I'm in need of some advice.
I have a grow tent, 400w ballast, glass tube & reflector, 2 bulbs (1x MH and 1x HPS), duct, fan etc.
I recently started reading about autoflowering seeds, and thought this might be a good option, so I've got a couple of questions...
1. I want to grow in pots with a 70/30 soil/perlite mix, and I've been looking at air pots or smart pots as an option as they seem like a good concept. Are these types of pots good for autoflowering seeds? If so, what size would be good for maximum yields, given that the lifecycle of these plants is quite short?
2. If the vegetative stage of the autoflowering strains is, for example, one month, would it be worthwhile using the MH bulb for the first month, then switching to hps when flowering starts?
3. What is a good nutrient the to give the plants in a setup like this, how often should they be watered, and how much nutrient should I give?
When growing outdoors, I used to use biocanna, and had good results, so I'd be happy to use it again. I planned on using certified organic soil too.

*My grow tent is 1m squared at the base and 2m tall, and I plan to grow 2-4 plants, so I could fit some pretty big pots in there if need be.

What do y'all think of my plan? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers, happy smoking :)

Im a first timer myself and also growing in soil and perlite ,i use 11 lt pots which are about12 inch across and the same depth ,decent size for ur tent ,i use 600 hps dual spectrum with my filter duct through tube to keep the bulb cool, also run an intake fan for cool air, being in scotland i do tend to buy the best soil i can as i dont want bugs id rather remove that problem before it starts ,also had problems with ph of water so a ph meter and fluids for adjusting is a must if u want to get the best out of them ,there are plenty well informed people happy to share their knowledge on here.....best of luck[emoji111]
