What brand T5 u runnin Ripster? I've got a 2 foot 8 bulb T5 i got from htg supply for my little grow closet,lookin to upgrade when i move things into a 5x5' tent.

I'm using the "SunLeaves" 4 ft 8 bulb fixture with veg. bulbs and total watts is 432 with each bulb being 54 watts each...

Checked out the sunleaves light Ripster,looks nice.I like that you can pigtail them together-at least thats what i read in their description? Can you tell me what kind of a footprint they have? My growbrite is pretty much straight down and covers only the area its over really.Thinkin of upgrading to a new setup here in a month or so and i really like my t5's,kicked around l.e.d. and hid lighting but keep going back to the good ol t5. Thinkin jardin 150ll tent with 2 4 foot 8 bulb fixtures.I can't kick about the growbrite i've been using with agromax bulbs but looking to go to a 4 foot model for the bigger area.Just need to figure what fan and filter combo i want for that tent and i'm good to go. The sunleaves pigtailing feature has got me swinging that way.

Yeah, you can. Plus they have a switch that will allow you shut off either the 4 outside lights or the 4 middle lights. It's pretty nice, I love mine...The footprint is pretty much straight down covering a 3 x 4 area nicely...Unless you plan on using it for photo's to, I wouldn't bother with the bloom bulbs...
