Although I am a "Novice" Grower, I have quickly noticed two things with LED lights (both my own & other growers).

1 They necessitate the use of more Cal/Mag
2 They keep plant node spaces short
3 There may well be others

As a result I now run a "mix of lights" or should I say "types of lighting" LED, M.H. HPS, 400v CFL etc

I value your thoughts on the following ramble...

All lights have a place (obviously, as each has different specs). However, do you think we can identify lights as this sort of tool, to the degree of scheduling? i.e. depending on what you want the plants to do... Early Veg Short Nodes" give a Blip (48Hrs) of LED Supplemental lighting week 3....

just what I like to see... the lighting guy... the seed guys.... the people who use em...
I love this place

...these kids are gonna be leathal in a bit...

Our light work and are more efficient at 220V. Less amperage.

Thank you tomorrow by the sound of things a @PlatinumLEDTom grow light will be making it way into my grow room in the near future :toke:

Thanks for answering this question

All the best

Mark.

Tom, what is your thought on the timers used for various light schedules? Does Platinum recommend any certain types?

Timers are great.

Can't go wrong with a quality analog timer. I've experience with some of the automation systems on the market like iPonics and HydroPod. You can set schedule for lighting, temp humidity and CO2 levels. Cool way to automate your grow room!

Evening Mark(scratch Mark...Swap for Tom! My apologies mate! :LikeWeed:..and sometimes it plays tricks on Me!) :pass: A bit left field, but, do you get a lot of business from commercial operators, or do you see your main market in the 'cottage' industry? (For the moment):toke:

..Now wandering off into the sunset...feeling(ooops, forgotten again...:LOLStoned:)
