Lets see, I've got Hard Pears, Chinese Pears, Black Berries, Blue Berries, Boysenberries, Regular Pears, Jumbo Pecans, Regular Pecans, Tangerines, Grapes, Golden Figs, Purple Figs, Peaches, and probably 2 or 3 things I'm forgetting......

Those are in my back yard. Everything in my front yard is decorative or flowers

I have so much go to waste I have tried for years to give it to the local food banks and food pantries but they won't come and get it.

They said I have to pick it, wash it, and deliver it or they don't want it.

I told them they can back a truck up to any of a dozen trees and fill the truck box in minutes and that my insurance would cover anyone on my property that got hurt in case they were worried about that, they still said no.

I asked them straight out if they would prefer seeing people go hungry and have tons of food go to waste and they said yes, unless I picked it, washed it and delivered it.

I supply many many neighbor families with free food though..... It still sucks seeing tons of good organic food go to waste every year.

wow Hash you set for fruit. I got blueberries, salmonberries, crowberries, lingonberries, highbush cranberries, rose hips in my back yard, front yard and side yards, lol

Thanks for the guess, but that wasn't it. Did a little more digging, and think I found it. "Common Mullein" is what it's called. According to Wikepedia, Colorado has it classified as a noxious weed, so guess I'd better pull it.

I did find mystery plant number 2, though.....if anyone recognizes this I'd appreciate the tip. This one looks closer to that milkweed, may have to read up more on that one.

bro, it's traditional meds and quite showy, having a couple around can't be noxious

Anybody know a good way to trap ants? I noticed theese ants are devouring those red spiders... Little carnages, but ya I'd like to trap some starve em for a bit then release the hounds.

Natural predators...

I make my own orange oil...good for a lot of things, one being it keeps ants off my kitchen counter.
Before my house burned down, we had an ant problem. Wiping a barrier line of orange oil around the counters kept them away for two or three days.
Sometimes I would play with one...put a ring of orange oil around him and he wouldn't be able to get out of it. If I left him alone like that for a little while, another one would come to keep him company. The second one would stay with the first one for hours, but if I left them over night...the one inside the circle of orange oil would look like he tried to wade out but died trying and the second was was gone.
