This is going to document the life and times of a Fastbuds zkittlez that my gf named rainbow. I always let her help name things to include her in the process from the start. It occasionally causes me less headaches lol. The environment/tent it was grown in changed mid grow as did the lights and just about everything else. This journal also coincides with the start of my journey with new medium, lights a number of times over and a new nutrients line I hadn't yet used or dialed in for autos fully yet. Thanks for reading or following along once I've caught up and am posting current grows not just the ones I've done since I joined the community. As always even though it's a completed journal any comments or help are welcome.

Week 1

Pictures from day 3,4 and 7 I believe just a wee baby still. No feeding at this point just a bit of pH to 6.0 water, minimal water. Screenshot_20210113_171624_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210112_213725_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210112_223328_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 2

Screenshot_20210113_172718_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 11 and 13 nothing too much to going on plant is doing OK so far no feeding yet.Screenshot_20210113_172718_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_172709_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 3

Screenshot_20210113_173838_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 16 and 21 one before a feeding and one after I feed using medi-one base line and some other add ons from green planet nutrients. I fed using less than half strength nutrients according to the feed schedule and time line. No training or anything yet but I usually do train and will be training this plant. Week 4

Screenshot_20210113_175530_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 25 and 28. I have started training the plant a bit by this point I usually use staples to begin with to help tuck leaves and then I will use clips and garden tie for the rest of the grow showing a bit of nutrient burn on the tips if I'm not mistaken.Screenshot_20210113_175530_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_175458_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 5

Screenshot_20210113_180443_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 29 and 35 the plant is starting to flower now still showing some nute burn but overall it could be in worse shape. Fairly happy with how the plant responded to the training. Screenshot_20210113_180443_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_180403_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 6

Screenshot_20210113_180848_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from the 36 and 41st day. Plant is continuing to flower and do its thing still showing the nute burn it hasn't ever fully gotten over since I introduced root builder and the healthier roots pulled in all the nutrients I hadn't gotten out of the soil by not watering to get proper run off and other mistakes. Plant still pushing through despite the issues I caused it. Week 7

Screenshot_20210113_181911_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 45 and 49 still dealing with the issues I caused over feeding not watering to enough runoff and watering with calmag alone and not balanced nutrients. I gave it a solid flush with 6.2 water and started back with even weaker nutrients and continued on. Week 8

Screenshot_20210113_182502_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 50 and 56, the flush did what if could but the leaves were never going to recover but the plant is doing OK and is pushing through and producing OK considering.Screenshot_20210113_182502_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_182550_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 9

Screenshot_20210113_183031_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 57 and day 63. The closer one is 57th day. Leaves make it look worse then it was but its still bulking up and ripening the plants moved environments and tents so likely lights as well I was and always will be upgrading and trying new stuff whenever I can. Week 10 the end of the rainbow.

Screenshot_20210113_183632_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 65, 67 and day 68 when it came down after a couple days in the dark. She smelt delicious when she came down and went into the dark. It ended up being pretty decent but didn't quite have the terp profile in smoking as it did before I dried it which is likely on me but not too bad over all considering the difficulties I put it through. I have been growing for about 20 years on and occasionally(and sadly and regrettably) off. Started out as a punk kid getting into my dad's stuff until a friend of his gave me and my cousin some seedlings and I never looked back. When I got old enough my old man taught me how he did things which was all old school and soil. Taught me many a valuable lesson but mostly looking back really just know what you're growing in and "if you think it's done give it a week" when I first started out. Things have changed so much in the cannabis world since then. I started doing indoor about a year or so before it became legal for a friend of mine who had gotten his acmpr to grow a small amount he was having trouble so I helped him out. What a journey that led me on all across Ontario for lights and tents and clones and nutrients. I met so many good people along the way and as with anything in passionate about I read and want to learn more and get better. Which eventually led me to this great community of people and wealth of information. I am privileged to be a part of. I plan on being more and more involved in the community as I am grateful for what has been created here and all I have learned and will going forward. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to go on this journey with me in any small way or part I appreciate you.
