I just had my Sour Hound pop her head above ground yesterday evening, and sonow she gets to join the ranks of all the lovely ladies in my blog. Right now she's still under my baby light, with a heat mat under her. I'll keep her there for another day, then she's going in the auto closet, with all her cousins. I will post weekly updates of her, with all the rest, within this blog entry. I've only grown one of these, and it was over a year ago,.
This one is shooting up FAST. Here she is!

Welcome to the world!
so here she is. Tiny! seems small even for a seedling. doesn't seem like a bad thing with this one though. its cute.
FAT firsts, and seconds coming in fast!
she got some elemental last night, and is going to get a well watered cup of food as soonas shes ready. I haven't gone to work on them yet tonight. I run at night, because of summers, and it sucks sometimes.
She's growing so FAST. almost caught up with the others. Just took these tonight, when I went in and took pics of the others.

2 weeks
so shes starting to catch up with her sprout-siblings. She's got some wide leaves, already. I'm sorry my photos are blurry lately. My camera is on the fritz, and I can't afford to replace it right now. makes me want to cry. She's up to 1/2 strength feed, and has been upgraded to Sensi Connoisseur nutrients.
General Autoflower Feeding Schedule (complete)
This seemed easier to me, than just posting a little bit here, a little bit there. Better to get the entire schedule on one page, that way anyone wanting to check it out, or copy it down, doesnt have to sift through all the different pages to try and put it together. Any anomalies I will put on the page it's happening on. Otherwise you can just assume that my girls are getting the normal posted schedule, on time, and are having no troubles. this is not an exact guide. this is what i do with all of my own plants., because everyone has their own rhythmn, and their plants will as well. This is only general guidelines for what to do, and when. Our environments are not exactly alike, so our plants will not eat exactly alike, even if they are the same strain.
in the first 1-10 days:
lite (1/8-1/4 strength)
cal mag (any variety) trinity (roots organics) (both together.w/recharge as well.)
and mycos (I use growers recharge) once btween days 1-5
if it needs feeding twice within those first 5 days, I use just 1/4 strength cal-mag in plain RO water, to moisten the soil
I get them a good fresh H2O feed in there within the 10 days as well.
around days 7-8, I start adding in a light Sensi G feed (grow nutrients @ 1/8-1/4 strength), and on off days, a cal-mag / H2O feed in between them, until days 14-15.
If they are still doing well, I start giving cal-mag at full strength.
between days 14-18ish, I will give them a single feeding of silica (2ml/gal) and sensizyme(full st.),
and then IMMEDIATELY after that, they will get a full strength cal mag/trinity/recharge feed
between days 14-21 increase Sensi Grow to 8ml /gal (2ml / ltr). I continue on at these strengths, using Sensi Grow...
until days 30-40 (depending on the plant) I begin the switch week to Sensi Bloom, and start giving them Bud Candy as well. continuing to alternate nutrient feeds with the cal mag/h20 feeds.
At days 40-50, I start adding in Big Bud with the rest of the nutrients. Continue to alternate with CM/h2o.
around day 45-ish, start using some b-52 in there with the cal mag/h2o feeding.
days 50-55ish, start using Overdrive instead of Big Bud in there with the base nutrients.
Depending on strain, start reducing/stopping your base nutrients between days 60-70.
If still going beyond that, a couple of weeks, use Overdrive and Sensizyme 1-2x/wk, with Trinity in there @ 1/2 - 2/3 strength on off feed days.
Last week-10 days, I flush.
I use Sensi for most of the nutrients.
Trinity comes from roots organics, recharge comes from (edit name)
any questions just post them in the discussion, FEED SCHEDULE capitalized somewhere in there so I can catch it easier, and I'll answer it as soon as I see it.

wk 3 update
BEAUTIFUL, as always, #mephisto! She's got some fat leaves, and just has a vibrancy you can't see because of my HPS. Getting tall. I dont have much to say right now about the babies. They are going to be on full strength feed next week, and will be going into her pot as soon as i go get some soil. I have started to see little roots peeking out the bottom of my cups, so i think its time to move. I'll post an update on moving day
wk 4
So I decided to do a little LST with this one. I've not tried this strain yet, but most of the other mephistos seem to do well with pulling them to the side some so the satellites can get some more light. I also repotted her, into a 3 gal. round pot. Didn't have a lick of shock. Used a recharge soak to the soil when i moved her,. I swear by that stuff. its amazing. Here she is after I pulled her over.
Full flower now
She shot out there, while i wasn't looking! I have so many different things going on right now, Ive got my work cut out for me keeping up with all these journals. I won't do thi smany at once again. 4's my limit now.
A very tall plant, for how small she was a couple of weeks ago. Got a clear central cola now. Most Mephisto strains have this, I've noticed. I like it, though they can shade out the satellites from time to time.
She's been transferred to her bloom regimen now. I will post that update pagethis weekend, with the transition notes in it.
It's easier to type it all out at once, rather than just give you a few days worth of info each time i post. that way you have the whole schedule right there in front of you to examine, or copy, or whatever. No hunting through pages required.

Wk 3-4 update? (late update w photos/food)
SO SORRY to have left it off for a while! I had some issues in the room that had to be taken care of, but i'm back in full force now. I have some photos of the sour hound for you, so you can see her structure, and how the buds are forming. She's BEAUTIFUL. Bright white, with thin fingered, glossy leaves. Nice open structure like the Sour Orange Diesel Crack I'm growing. They share a lot of genetics, you can tell.
Here's what she's been having lately, for food:
She's had the Gen Hydro Flora Series (grow, micro, blm) additives, early on in her growth.
She gets the standard Sensi feeds, that I give to all the plants in grow stage.
Cali Magic (cal mag) on her off days w/trinity and recharge,
and a floralicious/armor-si feeding.
Fresh H2O in between feeds. She's sucking the pot DRY every day. So light it seems like theres nothing in the pot. HUNGRY lady.
Over the next couple of weeks, before she switched, I started giving her Head Masta, to get her ready to flower, and started switching her from her grow Sensi to the Bloom.
She is now full in flower, running on 18-6. Starting to look like some solid sticks of bud, there. I may have been wrong about the ball-shaped nugs. She's starting to remind me of Chemdogg in the bud structure.
SHE SMELLS LIKE FRUIT PUNCH! Straight like you stuck your nose in a jar of fuit punch Koolaid mix. Sweet, and STRONG. I'm starting to get excited about her. I was a little disappointed at first, because she was smaller, but I think she's going to make up for it in quality!

So I finished her a little while ago. Honestly I thought I posted these. I ended up with a decent amt. on her, a little bit over 3 oz, including edibles material. She smelled like STRAIGHT juicy fruit! I was so upset all through the grow, because i know shes an auto, and I can't clone her. I have been searching for that 1990's indiana juicy fruit flavor for a decade, ever since I moved away, and this is the first time I've tasted its exact copy. Delicious! she tasted just like she smelled, and was smooth as butter. No harshness whatsoever. GAH! and she's not even a strain I can go out and buy. It was a freebie mix that Mephisto never put out as a strain. It's not exactly a Sour Hound. It's sour hound X northern cheese haze, never got a name I dont think. I WISH there was a strain like this i could get out there, and know it would taste like this again. Mephisto seemed to do a good job with the chemdogg. It's ALWAYS the same. I think they could do it with this flavor, if they tried. Maybe they are. I hope so.
As far as growth, she stayed average size, for an auto. Not too leafy. I didn't get much trim from her, once the water leaves were gone. She was all bud baby!
Here she is. Both full plant, and defoliated closeups. Even got some trich shots in there with the new macro lens. Thought it was closer, but the closer ones didnt develop correctly, so.. Here you go!
