First Journal- G13 labs NLAuto

Hey first timer here.

I will be growing G13 Labs NL Auto

Grow space: grow cab
Lighting: Mars Hydro Sp150
Medium:Cyco Pearl Coco
Nutrients:Remo
Schedule: 18/6
Water method: Hand Water

Began by soaking Rapid Rooters in plain tap water and inserting seeds. Placed in Tupperware and on top of my Router.

On the 3rd day both seeds have popped their heads up, one has lost a cotylodon in the process so I will have to see how that goes but should be OK.

Day 7

Just a quick update. I will take pics most days

Day 10

So far so good.
Daily fertigation @ec700 /6.0ph to 20% run off.

Roots are coming long nicely, using instatransplant method learned from @G.Leave and will be keeping them small as per @arty zan stunting methodology as vertical space is limited.

Day 11

Just a picture today

Day 13

Just a picture today

Day 14

So, beans were popped on dec 1st , poked their heads above ground on dec 4th so this is 14 days above ground.
I have transplanted a little earlier than I was going to but I think its for the best. They will live the rest of their lives in these 1 gallon pots, I sprinkled dynomyco on the roots and in the holes preped to accept them at transplant.
Fertigating at ec700 and 5.0 ph. Run off is ec 540 and 6.5 ph. I'm going to keep it in this range for the time

Day 17

Plants have responded well to their hair cut and are beginning to branch out.
I have lowered fertigation levels a touch to bring down run off numbers a touch now @ec 670 at a ph of 5.0 which leave a run off of ec750 and 6.5 ph.

Day 18

Just a picture.

Day 28

Day 28 , plants are filling in nicely since the topping and are being trained to spread out a little.they are still being fertigated at 700ec and 5.1ph leaving a run off of 600 and a ph of 6.7.
Plants are showing sex and I expect that they will begin flowering in the next week or so, this is a 80-85 day strain according to the breeders so another week would be about half way however in my experience this number is mearly an estimate.

Day 29

Just a picture.

Day 64

Sorry, been neglecting this journal.
Plants are both flowering and doing well, #1 has stretched quite a bit more than the #2 plant.
Fertigating at 1100ec and 6.2 ph everything is going smooth plant 2 is probably 2 weeks behind #1

Day 78

Just some pics

Day 80

Just a pic

Day 82

Coming along now, plant 1 is showing some cloudy trich's haven't even checked the other one yet.
Looking for a heavy indica buzz on these so I will begin flushing when I see 20% amber.

Day 89

Just some pics.

Day 98

Some updated pics. Getting close now. Still having some clear trichs, would like a heavy sedated buzz from this so I'm holding out a little longer, will most likely start flushing with just ph'd water in the next couple days.

Day 106

Harvested the plants today. Plants have been recieving only water and a tbsp of molasses per gallon of water for the last week. Took a test bud 10 days ago and it has a nice smooth draw already at that time so I'm sure once it has dried and cured it will be nice.

Harvest

So, still waiting on cure to finish up.
Ended up getting just shy of 5 1/2oz from the two plants most is fairly dense anything that was larfy was saved for bubble and edibles.
Early smoke report is that the taste is smooth, has some incence type flavors and is curing to an almost peppery smell in the jars. It's a nice clear relaxing stone that makes your eyelids heavy after about 30mins and has a nice body aspect.

Funny, I was just reading about the history of both G13 and Northern Lights earlier today.

Well I have read and heard lots of different ideas about the g13 strain being the ultimate low odor stealth strain and the NL has a history as being one such plant as well. The seeds I am growing are by G13 labs - sadly I don't think anyone will have authentic g13 strain anymore. As I believe it to be lost in the ether

Day 5

Seedlings have been transplanted into solo cups and are recieving fertigation once a day @ec 650 and run off is being monitored and is currently just over ec 500.
Ph is running 6.1~6.3 they are on 18/6 and tems are 75~84 lights on and about 5 degrees cooler at night.
Seems the one who lost a cotylodon will pull through just fine.
I am going to start watering with a little less water than I am currently using as the coco is staying quite damp .

Day 22
Plants have both been topped and I have begun to think them into shape, had a small mishap with one plant resulting in the need for a tin foil splint, im sure it will recover fine.
They have been recieving fertigation one a day at ec of 730ish and a ph of 5.1-5.3 the run off is within 100 points and a ph of 6.5 both are acceptable.
I think I will be abandoning my earlier thought of mainline and just letting them grow out as is with some training , both plants have begun showing sex and I don't want to be too hard on them .
