Completed F | T |F Growery: Ace+SSSC+Dina+Sannie's+RO Rehab

IMG_20200909_154803.jpg

don't like grow journals, maybe others do, I don't. Welcome to my ACE+SSSC+DINA+RO: Rehab project.

Got my RO system, 8ft flood tables for food, and 100+ gallons of Growpito to condition. I'm participating in the Dinafem battle that I am incredibly, severely behind on, and also the SSSC Pineapple Poison grow+show that I'm behind on as well. I have spent around a year battling issues to be informed, I surmised, that my water was bad. No bruised egos when it isn't really my fault and getting RO was something I contemplated to begin with.

Anyways, it is an Axeon BT2000 that I was given for some R&D responsibilities. Was a bitch to get setup to my plumbing and had to repair some parts. It works well, reads output ppm, allows for chemical injection, and makes 50 gallons fast. Taste excellent to drink as well.

It is a showcase of me, hopefully, getting all my plants going from flushing to cloning to flowering this blog entry will have it all. I will be separating each breeder via the page function. Not to derail from my threads I just want this for the clean look. Even better, my Pixel 4a comes as do my lenses so better pictures.

I run 4x4 and a 5x5 tent. Here's what I'm working with.

Mother -
2x185 watt 3000k bridgelux fixtures
Growpito Sim mix and Beneficials
Multiple pot sizes
RO
Mega Crop A+B

Flower -
500w Bridgelux fixture
9x5 gallon square pots
3x3 table
Growpito Sim mix and Beneficials
RO
Mega Crop A+B

The Vegery: The veg space

This is the Vegery - the spot where I record my mother's and their clones. At the time my plants were suffering badly from tap water and RO saved them all. In the sub categories you can view the problems and how within two weeks everything was fine again.

This is after two weeks below.

Ace Seeds Zamaldelica x Kali China: 3rd Run

IMG_20200909_143502.jpg

IMG_20200909_143930.jpg

This is my baby/revegges/cloned that has went through some hard times. She is nearly a 1 year old mother recovering from tap water. I have grown her out twice now with water related issues. After months of poor grows and fighting issues this third run will see how much more I can squeeze out of her.

The following pages will detail from clone to flower to harvest. Thank you for following. :baked:

Zamaldelica x Kali China is one of the best and most complete sativa/indica hybrids we have ever produced up to date. A next generation super hybrid which gathers countless qualities in a single plant.

It's the fruit of a direct cross between our Zamaldelica elíte mother, sativa of great reputation that in recent years is being considered as one of the best pure sativas in the world, and our 4th generation Kali China elite, our most refined stabilized indica hybrid, which is gaining followers quickly due to the quality of its resins, effects and terpene profiles, and for its exotic and stylized hash plant expression.

Zamaldelica x Kali China has the super refined Kali China's hash plant behaviour: compact, very manageable and very easy to grow plants, both indoors and outdoors, with very little stretching in flowering and a fast flowering time. With a sativa touch that provides more vigor and excellent branching.

Its beautiful and stylized flowers of medium size are very dense and resinous, producing a powerful, elegant and refined sativa/indica effect of prime quality, long lasting and without ceiling, with one of the most complex and intense terpene profiles in our catalogue.

Polyhybrid with a complex genetic background, which includes 4 sativas of incredible reputation and quality (Zamal, Malawi, Thai and old Kali Mist) and our exotic China Yunnan indica. Zamaldelica x Kali China is a new zenith in the breeding of our latest hybrids, enhancing our best strains to an even higher level of refinement and quality.

Day 2 - Since RO

I've trimmed back the large mother and taken 12 cuttings. I'm seeing the purple change and new growth is juicier. Clones were soaked in kelp and humic acid for several minutes then shipped 6 in Rhizopon.

I'm pleased that everything is recovering and that my two revegged mothers are healthy. I also took clones from them and the regular clone. Water issue was a bad deal that I will never deal with again. Water taste great and cheers to a bountiful harvest!

Day 9

It is slow but a steady uphill battle now. Using Mega Crop's late veg formula right now and she has shown steady growth even after having cuttings taken a little over a week ago.

I didn't grab pictures of the reveg clones but everything is doing well so far. The purple is all but gone from the stems and petioles.

20200918_135657.jpg

Day 13

The Zamadelica has bounced back better than I've ever seen it. Spreading her out continually and cropping everything with vice grips has been fun.

The revegged and clone plants are doing very well. The clones for the next flower run are rooting and within two weeks will start flowering.

I have been foliar feeding humic/kelp for some reason when i know it should have been fulvic...

Day 15: Full Health

Well it has been a solid two weeks of RO and my mother has returned better than ever. Originally I made a manifold from this lady last December and I've never seen her look like this.

SSSC Pineapple Poison: Dream Grow

IMG_20200909_143409.jpg
IMG_20200909_143415.jpg

My thread is linked but above are my two girls. I probably won't get more than one clone from the smaller but a beautiful structure so I don't think I will be disappointed.

They both suffered but the larger did exceptionally better after getting MC A+B even with the tap. I flushed these pots out throughly though. This is a pretty cool cultivar from SSSC's description and I need to get flowering. However many clones I get will go to the flowering tent once rooted though.

Please follow along if interested.

Both Durban Poison and Pineapple can be considered as classic, old school varieties by now. Pineapple Poison can be grown outdoor and indoor. To create Pineapple Poison we crossed the original Durban Poison from South Africa with an old school Pineapple Skunk (unknown origin). It took the master breeder 5 generations of crossing to achieve the desired result, a very stable and potent fruity variety.

The Pineapple Poison is a very vigorous plant and easy to grow, especially outdoors. The sativa characteristics of the Durban Poison are very noticeable during the grow cycle. Indoor the plants grow in between 1 and 2 metres tall and outdoor she can reach up to 4 metres, resulting in a bumper harvest! Ready to harvest at the end of September, beginning of October.

The smell is very exotic and punchy, pineapple fruit and hints of anise from the Durban Poison. The taste is fruity and the pineapple flavour is followed by the anise flavour which remains as after taste for some time. The buds are very compact and frosty, very commercial for an outdoor variety.

Day 2 - Clones+Roots

Upper growth hasn't really kicked into gear yet but the roots are growing harder than I've seen so far through the fabric pot. Took pictures from three sides.

I took seven clones of the larger pheno and I keep forgetting to get a clone from the other

Not much to report but color is looking better and stress is less stressful now.

Day 9

Pineapple Poison has had it rough. The smaller plant is just not a happy camper. Not thriving, she may get culled.

I've stretched the larger plant out and cropped her at some point. Her stem has thickened considerably since the water was changed. Still some sickly leaves but new growth is happening at a decent rate so far.

20200918_135526.jpg
20200918_135244.jpg

Day 13

Everything is finally much much better. Super cropped the larger one as I'm going to throw whatever I have, in my veg tent, in there, flower tent, in a week or two.

I only have one cut of the second pheno that is smaller but the donor plant has not been happy. Growth is better but not perfect yet. Several of the other clones have rooted so I'll keep one and flower the rest pretty soon I hope.

Dinafem: Super Silver+Original Amnesia

IMG_20200909_143451.jpg
IMG_20200909_143447.jpg
IMG_20200909_143432.jpg

These were seeds I received from a competition and due to the watering issue these are over 50 data 5+ and incredibly small. I'm not sure if I will be able to do anything in time for the competition but I would still like to grow them. My first Dinafem grow didn't go so well and it was also due to the water.

All these problems are fixed now so follow along but it will be long.

Super Silver is one of those marijuana strains that right from the very beginning boast their Sativa genetics. One only has to look at her structure, her greediness and her yield to realise she is indeed a proud Sativa. At Dinafem Seeds, we knew for sure this feminised seed would become a champ, a safe bet for worldwide growers who love sturdy and moisture-resistant Sativa strains. Her success resides in the convergence of Haze, Skunk and Northern Lights genetics, a gathering of top cannabis giants that our team of breeders managed to stabilise and masterfully backcross.

Original Amnesia is a feminised cannabis seed derived from an Original Amnesia backcross. The origins of Original Amnesia, created by a Dutch breeder, haven't been revealed. However, she's suspected to derive from the cross of a Haze and a Northern Lights. The catalogue of Dinafem Seeds couldn't do without this wonderful Sativa queen that has succeeded in fully captivating not only Dutch coffee shops but all those who have happened to meet her as well. This gift for the Haze lovers showcases many of the traits so sought after in cannabis: she flowers in record time, her yield is magnificent, her potency is brutal and her organoleptic traits are simply unique.

2nd prize in the 'Sativa' category at Copa Cannazores 2016.
2nd prize in the 'Sativa' category at Treating Yourself Cup 2014, Toronto.
1st prize in the 'Sativa' category at Expogrow 2012, Irun.
1st prize in the 'Sativa' category at Highlife Cup, Holland.
Absolute Winner at Highlife Cup, Holland.

Day 2 - Some Clones

So if you really followed along you might notice I mentioned clones from all these strains. The picture of all the clones is on this page lol.

Original Amnesia is doing well and didn't stress over the cutting. I also took a cut from both Super Silver that also did not stress. Everything is going well so I am quite pleased.

Day 9

Fresh transplant on the Original Amnesia a few days ago and they are doing just fine. Waiting on cuttings but no rush. I don't know if I will be able to do the competition though as long as everything is taking. They are all healthy though.

20200918_135943.jpg
20200918_135919_HDR.jpg

Super Silver is actually doing well. Enough growth for more cuttings already so I know the RO is working well. Not much else going on with these ladies though.

Day 13

#12
It is all good now. Several of the OA have rooted and the SS have as well. The second plants are doing well with all the OA transplanted into another pot.

Broke a branch on the SS but she'll be fine. Everything is laying sideways to branch out while I spend the next week or two vegging. I have several strains to go in and I want to pack the 3x3 as much as possible.

Pictured are all the clones of everything I'll try to get in the flower tent. Green pot is all the OA with the two SS right beside. Really glad the RO fixed all my issues.

Ace Seeds Bangi Congo x Panama: No Seeds+2nd Run

20200918_135625.jpg
20200918_135615.jpg

Bunch of strains and it just so happened that this lady had enough to fill my tray the rest of the way.

I grew this strain earlier this year and the smoke was fantastic. However due to all the stress feeling the bad water, she produced so many seeds that I am not mad about. Frosty, terps were incredible, and yield was what I needed. She flowers beautifully.

I have 4 clones of her but this is also a rehab story for her. The pics above are 9 days into using RO and she really came back to life. Enjoy.

With this limited edition, we continue exploring the best possible combinations between African and Central American sativas. Bangi Congo x Panama, along with Panama x Bangi Haze, form the peak of our repertoire of hybrids between congolese and panamanian sativas.

In this case, the Bangi Congo mother, an excellent and fast flowering pure congolese which has been used since the beginning of ACE Seeds in the breeding of our most popular congolese hybrids, was pollinated by the already famous Panama Goddess, 10th generation elite parental plant, with which we have developed the latest Panama generations, as well as the most recent and remarkable Panama hybrids in recent years.

Bangi Congo x Panama is a F1 100% sativa hybrid, vigorous, with strong structure and excellent branching, which surprises with its fast and explosive flowering for a pure sativa, and for its excellent adaptability to indoor growing and outdoor growing in latitudes where plants will be flowering in colder and humid environments.

This sativa is a true 'white' strain: the buds and leaves nearby are covered with a thick and shiny layer of resin, where the classic african earthy flavors meet the more refined lemony and incensey Panama's terpene profile.

It produces an immediate mental effect, with an intensity, complexity, depth and duration of its effects that can take even the most experienced sativa users unawares.

Day 13

It has been rough for this mother as she is finally bouncing back. I super cropped her with vice grips all over. She's real broken up over it :crying: idk she just snapped.

Her clones are beginning to root and I'm just repeating myself at this point lol. Either way I'm going to get some more amazing bud and she is recovering well. She is at the front left.

Day 15: Off to the races

Bangi Congo is doing good and I'm thoroughly convinced RO works.

20200926_103108(1).jpg

Sannie's Extrema: Late to the party

I've had clones is this for a year and finally healthy enough that I won't have to ask for more clones. Really excited for this strain. It has been 15 days of RO.

20200926_103011(1).jpg
20200926_102941(1).jpg

Sannie's Seeds Extrema Genetic: ChemD X Herijuana
Type: Indica dominant type
Flowering time: 8-9 weeks
Harvest: Up to 500 gram/m2(indoor)
Taste: A powerful diesel/skunk smell/taste
Effect: Extreme stoned
Flowers: Dense buds covered in trichomes
THC: Percentage up to 23%
Bred by sannie and knutsel

After a few years of selling the well known Herijuana we got lots of feedback about the medical quality's from this plant. Very powerful stoned to the bone cannabis which is very suitable as a pain killer or just to get real stoned.

The ChemD is a cross which stand out in taste and potency, a overwhelming skunky / diesel smell which stays for a while to torture you. She gives a extreme stoned/high which will stay for a long time.

This two extremes on each other will give heavy indica dominant plants with a average flowering time from around the 8-9 weeks, harvest is OK for a indica like this but when the space is filled up good this indica can surprise lots of indica growers.

Extrema has 2 extreme parents and as expected this plants will give fireworks for growers that are hooked on strong indica's. The ChemD will enhance the taste of the herijuana in a very positive way, a strong odor and taste in combination with its strong medical properties this cross will be very popular. The extrema can grow quite big for a inica which means you need less plants on m2, 9-16 Lady's will do the job.

The Flowery: Ro Heals |First Flower Run

Welcome to the first flower run with the RO system. It has been a bit over two weeks and 5/32 clones rooted well enough to be transplanted.

20200924_143521(1).jpg

This was Day 1

Redid the indexing, it was a pain for me and looked hard to read. The Flowery will have updates for each strain and eventually the Super Silver/Original Amnesia will have their own pages. If I don't like the strain it won't get anything after the first run.

Everything in this page will be general as I just transplanted everything yesterday.

Flower room equipment has been changed up since I manage the environment of the whole room rather than just the tents.

AIRCARE 6 gallon whole room humidifier
Central heating/cooling
5x5 Gorilla tent
500w Bridgelux EBG2 3000K array
3x3 flood table
1050gph pump
Mega Crop 2 part

Plants were also transplanted today for a final count of 28 plants for this run. Foliar feed is Fulvic/kelp/silica/yucca at a 4.5ph. Foliar sprays have to be acidic to penetrate the cuticle. For this run the strains will be

Sannie's Extrema x1
Ace Seeds Bangi Congo x Panama x2
Ace Seeds Zamadelica x Kali China x11
Dinafem Original Amnesia x5
Dinafem Super Silver x2
SSSC Pineapple Poison x7

I'm running individual journals for the SSSC/Dina but my updates will go here first.

Ace Seeds Zamaldelica x Kali China

For this run I have 11 clones with one being vegged longer but not getting too large due to my tap water. The pictures below are on the second day since transplanting and getting a foliar. The wide angle lens I'm using makes me nauseous and the camera phone I'm using is... I'm getting a real camera :cuss:

Day 7 Since Transplant

The clones are doing well with the RO. My wife has complained that I'm growing her again but she is my baseline for a good grow since this will be the third time.

I've been foliar feeding kelp/silica/fulvic acid/beneficials. Growth has resumed above and everything is just beautiful.

Day 10 Since Transplant

Everything is doing well so far. Roots have reached the bottom of the pots and flowering will begin in four days.

Seeing impressive uniform growth across all six cultivars so as always the Growpito is amazing. Roots are thick coming out and even the Pineapple Poison clone with the ZxK is doing perfectly fine.

I was able to get two clones in that had rooted sufficiently. I forgot to take individual pictures.

Day 5 Since Transplant

I didn't post pictures the first time around because I wasn't sure I was going to flower these ladies. Though I will I only had two but they will work.

Again, wasn't sure I would go through with a two week veg but these are small and yield well so I will give them extra time.

Day 10 Since Transplant

This is a pretty loaded blog entry with so many pages but I like it lol.

Bangi Congo x Panama is going great and won't receive any training. Pruned a tiny bit but not much else.

Really want to see the single cola untrained potential now that I have RO. This cultivar has been fantastic for pain and helped an acquaintance with early Parkinsons with their tremors and speech.

I've found the Zamadelica x Kali China has been helpful for menstruation, pain, and mood. Neither are heavy or anxiety inducing but have become beloved additions to my garden.

20201018_164840(1).jpg

Day 25 - Flower

Single colas looking good. I'm thinking 5 clones to a pot in the up coming run. The mother is nearing 40 clones so it's going to be great.

1oz+ single colas would be amazing. Flowering time is right around 8 weeks. Excited!

Day 39 - Flower

These have been doing exceptionally well though I do believe one clone was a bit crowded and had less bud overall.

They smell amazing and may do best topped initially. Two weeks of veg was a bit much, I'll know for the next run.

Day 59 - Flower

It's crazy how these same clones are performing compared the to the first grow. I was getting a fade at this point and this time they are looking to go longer.

Looking at doing my first SOG with them probably right at the beginning of the new year, maybe earlier.

Day 71 - Flower *COMPLETE*

The way this strain begins fading is alarming. It begins at the top cola with a tan crispy appearance that progresses down the leaves at random. Only reason I'm sure is because my friend grew clones of these that behaved the same.

Terps are very sweet and fruit smelling. It's a more intense and refined aroma compared to the first two times. They were cut because I saw enough amber trichomes.

The RO did a great job with the Growpito for this grow and I'm quite satisfied. I'm hoping for around 1/2 oz per plant for about 5oz. Everything is drying so we will see

Day 7 Since Transplant

Now these ladies are quite impressive. Idk, for some reason I didn't expect much from them but they responded well to the cropping and pruning.

I'm gradually defoliating to encourage more vegetative growth before I flip them. Also super cropping to manage height for the time being.

Day 7 - Flower

These are some beautiful plants. @St. Tom I'm holding the competition plant in the picture.

Day 14 - Flower

These plants are doing beautifully. My chosen comp plant is flourishing.

Day 25 - Flower

These two phenos are impressive but the competition plant is practically guaranteed to be my next mother. I'm thinking ten weeks.

Everything is uncertain for me between the stretch and the last three weeks. I've got high hopes though.

Day 39 - Flower

Switching to 11/13 did the trick for these as well. Not much to say as these have taken their time. They do look to be heavy yielders with quite thin leaves.

Day 60 - Flower

So here were are, it's been awhile but these plants are chugging along. Not much for terps that I can smell but the structure on my competition plant is amazing.

I think this will be an excellent SOG cultivar. MC has stayed around a 2.0 though they suffered a bit of tip burn

Day 75 - Flower *COMPLETE*

I'm not sure how impressed I am with the buds or the smoke itself. Perhaps I didn't let them go long enough or something but airy airy buds on both.

The smell is fantastic but I'm letting everything cure before I make a decision.

Day 7 Since Transplant

Well these are all thriving. Clones all rooted as well.

I've super cropped and done some pruning to encourage vegetative growth while letting the medium dry out enough to encourage downward growth in the rhizosphere.

I already knew but I find excellent advice and techniques on crop steering. What I'm doing is in the effort to promote vegetative growth and now that roots are becoming established my fertigation timing and solution will change.

Moist rhizospheres encourage vegetative growth once veg has begun while a drier rhizosphere encourages fruiting.

These are going to go long, they finished their stretch a few days ago. Internode distance on a few it not to my liking, hopefully yield doesn't disappoint. 2/5 aren't really to my liking but we'll see.

Lots of bud sites and really lanky all around. No smell yet.

I had a sick clone of this that finally came in to full health again. Transplanted her and she is doing well. I have a mother of this so if I like it then :clapper:

Day 7 Since Transplant

I super cropped her, I thought she didn't like but she likes whatever I do except tap water.

Not much to report as everyone for the most part has gotten the same treatment.

Day 2 - Flower

Aaaaandddd we're off! :hump::oops1::chimp:

Veg is going but beautiful in it's own way. It does not compare to flower, the only thing most are interested in.

We have arrived at the best part. Coming off of a yucca/blast/fulvic/kelp/fish hydrolysate 5.5ph foliar concoction with the intention of making this a strong vegetative transition to flower. Table isn't entirely filled so hopefully that will help.

Extrema was moved around because the Pineapple Poison is large. I'm not sure whether it is right now but I believe it is right in the middle.

Water usage has been better with the 1050gph pump filling the table in two minutes and draining in three. In two weeks I've used 10 gallons with a stable EC and pH. I'll never use tap water again.

Extrema took really well to the training but I prefer it's single cola greatness. It's looking to be a good flower run.

Day 35 - Flower

She is going to finish around 8 weeks as she is getting heavy and leaning. If the smoke is right she's going to make an excellent SOG strain.

Ideally, I'm looking at another multi strain run with more Zamadelica, Bangi Congo, and Extrema.

Had some shots I really liked of this and she smells stinky in the best way possible.

Day 75 - Flower *COMPLETE*

This turned out quite well with about 2oz of body relaxing, put that ass to sleep weed. Smell is like pine, earth, and citrus with a very smokey smoke and dry eye.

I won't grow this often but it is very good, unable to stay awake after two hours but very good sleep.

I'll be getting more from Sannie's in the future

SSSC Pineapple Poison

Last but not least this fantastic strain that I have seven of. The two large ones in the same pot were a bit shocked as they were deeply rooted in the fabric pot.

Day 7 Since Transplant

I'm curious if I made a mistake throwing the large plants in. The smaller pheno is sad looking while the larger is just not what I was expecting.

In the bright side the clones are doing very well and deserving of another week to veg. Internodal distance is long and they grow quickly compared to the Zamadelica.

I may crop the clones to manage the height a bit more. May be snobby of me but I want to stop using sativa and indica terminology to describe my plants.

It seems that epigenetics determine phenotypical expressions and physiology as there is only the psychoactive species known as Cannabis L Sativa

Day 25 - Flower

Everything is going well. These are starting to develop a fruity, paint like smell. Had to rearrange the tent. Can't wait to add intra/side lighting. The large pheno is probably going to be my mother.

Day 35 - Flower

Some shots I really liked of this as I believe it will go another 4-5 weeks.

Fan leaves have a small pronounced amount of blue in them especially on the clones that were generally healthiest. Internode distance has been a concern but I plan to remedy that with intra canopy lighting.

Feeds have been consistently dropping as the MC instructions resulted in a 2.5EC. I'm at a 1.4 and planning to go lower.

Day 52 - Flower

The fade is happening to everything but the donor plants. I don't know what determines how a plant will fade in to senescence but the purple in the fan leaves isn't happening.

Smoked some of the smaller plant and it was nothing special unfortunately. I'm thinking about week will be the finish. Hoping for some foxtails but we'll see.

Day 63 - Flower *COMPLETE*

Finally at the end.

So far, from what I've smoked in generally impressed. Not mind blowing but good. Anyways, this is the end of this particular grow and it was enjoyable despite the issues.

Plants grew really well, simple really but it was not the most trichome dense. Not much of a complaint but I don't really have any to begin with.

Should the smoke be exemplary, I will consider keeping this.

Shots of the plants, root ball, etc.

The bud shots trimmed are of the large donor plants that were cut a little over a week ago I believe.

Guide to Blogging on AFN

Blogs are a new feature that many won't be familiar with but we're going to make it easy. In this blog entry I'll cover blog creation and manipulation from A-Z in short but comprehensive pages to help anyone navigate this new feature. At first you might not know why you would even need a blog...

Thanks for following. Let me know if you need more detailed help.

This is really cool. I am wishing you the best of luck. I think that it's great that you are growing your own product. I myself used to smoke as well but I have a very addictive personality and so I quickly switched to something stronger like cocaine and after that I upgraded myself to meth.
Honestly I was a mess. I would have probably been dead by now if my family didn't intervene when they had and practically dragged me to a rehab center. I still remember that first week with the chills and the vomiting and just about anything you can imagine. I honestly wanted to die in that first week. I felt like my family betrayed me and sent me to hell. The whole Drug rehabilitation treatment from drug addiction took me about 4 months since I would slip and constantly cheat. It was a very uphill battle but I met some amazing people in rehab and I discovered new ways to excite myself.
I just want you guys to be cautious in everything you do and stay safe
