Day 26 Flower - Issues
I didn't take pictures entirely like I usually do but for about a week I had been getting yellowing growth but it started turning into spots on one plant then it began to climb. I could be wrong but it appears to be a calcium deficiency. There was some pruning of weak branches that needed to be done so I went ahead and flooded the table again.
pH was adjusted to 6.0
Mega Crop was increased to a 1.4 EC
CalMag was increased
Weak stems and stretchy branches were pruned
I'm suspecting some lockout at 5.5 pH but since switching to the LEDs I get a CalMag deficiency every time so I increased the amount. If it doesn't improve in a few days I'll raise the pH to 6.2. The Mega Crop was increased because all but the Kali China dominant pheno looked hungry. I initially suspected pH or nutrient burn early on with the tips but I believe foliar feeding held it back and it was actually calcium deficiency.
The stems on some of the lower, less developed buds were getting chlorosis and feeling soft which isn't how my plants have been growing since MC as I get stems like wood. The first time I saw a calcium deficiency was in the second run of Malawi x Panama and by the time I could afford more it was too late to correct it as I had lost too many leaves. The bud was maybe midgrade, lacking density and aroma.
