1/8's are 50 to 60 here and higher. Legal weed sells for more or the same as the street in D.C. The sale stuff is 120 per oz. My seller says they are of lesser quality and I agree.

I am really anxious to know if I can raise strong-quality weed. I think Indica is my preference, but I have been raising 50-50s hybrids more or less. I have Critical Purple going in for High THC Indica, 90% I think. Going to do 2 since I am certain I will prefer them. The LSD I bought is heavier indica at 70%

Yeah, too much information out there. Gorgeous plant. You have so much bud there, I don't think she would miss a bit of lower bud, enough to try a blunt or a bowl. You don't have to harvest all at the same time either. If the "harvest window" is 2-3 weeks long, you have a lot of flexibility in when you chop.

OH oh! You gave me permission to take a taste! I better drop the 2 Critical Purples in a hurry. I don't want to run out again. Now there is no reason to.

I did set their pots up today. 3 gal this time. I watered them down with an anti-fungus gnat deterrent. They are precharged Fox Farms and Roots Organic. One is mixed, one is plain RO. I've decided to wait on re-using soil until I switch to RO Lush. Lush is Aurora's Roots Organic Living Soil I believe. I decided Amazon is pricey and I am searching garden centers for a reliable source and price. Babbling again.

From what everybody says, your homegrown should be way better than anything you can buy. I got the Purple Kush Auto because I wanted to try a 100% Indica (90/10 indica/ruderalis). My other strains are all Indica dominant, except for a Jelly Rancher fem freebie.

Same with Critical Purple. 90% indica - 10% Ruderalis. 27% THC I used to always prefer a hash high. The purple kush, I think, is supposed to deliver on that. Critical I think is the same.

I am going to water with plain water, some kelp, 2 ml HP. I am pretty sure this is the last or next to last watering. Then the dark. Forgot tomorrow is day 70. Grower's Choice had an article describing drying the port down as part of stressing the plant to max resin, terpene, thc going to the flowers.

I'm still rooted. Week 11. I took a sample last night. @Mara Cachafa suggested it will be better than what I buy and it was really nice at the current stage of clouds and clears. I separated buds or pulled them away from each other on the branch to reveal calyxes. Took some pictures and they are still not ready. I am looking every day. I want some amber. The last night was very clean in my head with physical sensations like a mushroom cloud settling around my head. As it progressed it got more relaxing but did not interfere with doing stuff. It lasts for 1 movie, just about. I think it is still not ready. I want a little more on the couch side, but just a little more. I do not have a facility for drying in the correct environment. I'm at 77 degrees. I am thinking of putting an AC in the window in the tent room. It is my bedroom but I am thinking I will cool the room during the day and turn it off. My personal photoperiod has been running 18/6. I just want to slow drying. RH is OK. Every day I take her out of the tent to prune or water I see 1 gnat at the location I am doing the work.

Note: The diatomaceous earth creates a crust in the top 1.5" of soil. that I think is an obstacle to many of the gnat larvae. That's like 2 handfulls food grade mixed into 2 inches of top soil, then water.

I put her in the Dark today. 36 hours. I was seeing quite a few amber trichomes. Probably not 20% overall but here and there. I noted more cloudy, enough to be pleased. All of the main colas bud structures did firm up a lot. Some are rocks. They are dense. It is the smaller ones that are more spongy. I am definitely snipping the mains in 36 hours. I will consider growing out a little longer the secondary branches. I will watch how the late buds respond to light and water again.

Actually I am not to worried about the little buds. I just want to put them to the trim bag for edibles.

I dropped 2 Critical Purple seeds yesterday. Need the room. I have a Tangerine dream at 7-8 weeks.

Still drying. I have smoked about 1/4 oz I am guessing. I have over 100grams left so 1 plant will provide almost 3 oz of bud. Some of that bud is feathery or loose and the big ones look pretty nice. The loose stuff I will smoke, vape, and use for infusions. I have a 1/2 gallon jug of honey I am thinking of infusing. That or oil for cooking and butter coffee. I am going to grow Gorilla Glue in 5 gallon pots going forward. They fill out nice. I need to start growing 2 plants of the same strain at the same time to get the product I need for cooking and a stash for curing. With my current set up I can probably do 3 - 1 5g and 2 3g pots.

I found out I can jar and set the jars over the cooling vent to maintain curing temps in the high 60s. 67 degrees avg. My drying environment sucks. A closet 77 degrees 50% rh. I am thinking of add nugs that are pretty dry into the cure jars and just pop more frequently while they rest on the cooling vents around the house. The effect would be drying to a point and maintaining 62% RH then adding bud that might raise RH to 71 or so. Burp 'em, breathe 'em, seal them. Repeat. This extends drying time up to a few days.

I am not sure about the drying. I just saw that if the buds are drying unevenly I can smooth it out by adding to the cure jars. The existing dry bud absorbs some moisture from the new entries and the burping process + cool temps might help in the long run. I'm just regulating reality at this point.

But I will say this: A guy said I should try vaping the GG and test results. I will not say I caught this grow at its highest potency, but it vapes nice. It works for several tokes. A few more than I am used to. The buzz is awesome, clean, heady at first, and then evens out over the body. My head feels clear and active and I can choose to move or glue myself to the Lazyboy. I want to try it with a project requiring concentration. I'll put a new carburetor on a trimmer and see how she goes. LOL

Something else. This is young bud uncured, possibly not even dried to perfection, but I can get pretty high, even catch some major rushes and never feel like it is getting an edge on me. It's just a clean buzz. I am not sure how else to describe it. Well Balanced comes to mind. GG4 50-50 Hybrid.

I let hang dry for three days or 4. I trimmed and jarred bud. My home is too warm for drying so I decided to play with slowing it down. I jarred the good stuff and burp it frequently allowing it to breathe for up to 6 hours, I guess. I keep RH meters in the jars and allow RH to rise to 75%. Room temps are 78 degrees so the sealed jars spend a lot of time on the HVAC vents at 66.8 degrees. Let's call it Cold Brew as I alternate retaining moisture and releasing it. The smells and taste evolve and each jar has a slight difference in moisture content. The dryer popcorn buds have gotten a cinnamon spice aftertaste. As the jars cure, will I continue to scratch and sniff? Yep! (I had oral cancer 10 years back and have trouble with tastes. My cinnamon spice could be your sweet lemon. LOL)

I add boveda 62s when the RH is stable at 65-67 % and continue burping. After a week I think I can put them away or cover them to block light on the AC vent.

Yes, I look for and smell for decay when I start.

I do not mean for this to be taken as sage advice. I am just making stuff up as I go to offset my environment.

My Northern Lights buds are stable at 62% with the jar closed now, but still have a fresh hay smell. Nice light high though. Purple Kush had more moisture and bigger nugs, so taking longer to dry. It was in a brown bag for a couple of days. I just put it in a jar today, but if I close the jar it goes right up to 76% RH, so the jar is open, in an open bag for now in the 60% RH grow room. My 83° grow room temp is far from ideal for drying i guess. My office AC is set to 76°, but no way to control the smell there. The Purple Kush perfume is starting to overpower the lawnmower smell, and is my favorite high so far.

I have had some bad luck losing seeds. My critical purples were swamped out out of the root riots I was testing when I watered. I can't find them. They may pop but I went ahead and soaked 2 LSD to protect timing with the tangerine dream heading into 8 weeks. I am already behind 3 weeks from the ideal of continuous growth to establish an inventory and variety for infusions.

Week 6	28	Decided to lay off of LST for a few days. I am hand separating leaves to allow light into the plant where some buds are seeking the light. LOL. I turned off the vertical fan and one of the 6-inch fans. I will turn it on again, just didn't want too much wind all day. I was not maintaining light distance. Plan to increase the wattage to full in 2 weeks, I think.			24" X 75% X 900.				Watching for gnats after feeding and providing a boost solution and HP spray on the soil. Backed off a little on lights raising to 24". 6 weeks and canopy had grown to 17" from lights.
	29	I am surprised the moisture meter is showing low water already. I am planning to water with a solution of 4 tbsp Mosquito Bits to 1 gal of water today after I recheck moisture. This is my plain water turn. The bits need to soak for 30 minutes, then remove. I am hoping this late in will be the only treatment I need although another is recommended in 3 weeks. I am seeing gnats rarely and one at a time.		Mosquito Bits plain water.	24" X 75% X 900				Ordering some pot trivets to elevate pots to get air underneath them. I asked, and thanks all for the help, but was told the plant actually looks very good with only a slight deficiency. I have been mixing an organic product with the GH advanced products to serve as a boost. I need to do better documenting of ingredients and stage them. I know they can vary by strain requirements but I want to dial in a nute schedule that generally works throughout each week's needs. 	13	Oh My! Week 8! I watered 2 times plain water after a mild feed solution with Liquid Seaweed and GH Advanced Products in week 7. I am feeding with RO Bloom Terp Tea tomorrow. The Terp Tea runs 2-3 weeks. This with plain water twice. During Bloom, I will apply GH base and advanced products targeting bloom and ripening. I don't want to overdo it but thinking a heavier load is needed now. I need to remember we are coming up on 70 days, week 10. I am really curious to see the GH Advanced Products that benefit the organic properties of RO Bloom work together. A new spreadsheet will capture weekly feed recipes going forward.... Critical Purple next. Someone mentioned 'dialing in' to get feeding and environment working in sync. That is what I am getting more interested in.

	15	Added and watered with plain water RO Bloom. I felt like I can see the buds fattening or bulking up a little. This is the focus of feeding for now. Lots of bud sites that need to get fat. I removed all of the LST clips and wires. The plant has mostly taken the shape it will keep more or less. I still have lots of leaves on the plant. The yellowing I mentioned continues but not in an alarming way. I took 3-5 sets of leaves I found dried out or yellowing under the canopy. I don't take more than that and never have trimmed green leaves. My phone died, pictures after charging.

Day 58	20	That water from yesterday is mostly gone. I am not running much through on nutrition. Just the RO feed and watering with light GH micro, bloom, koolbloom and ripen. The RO Bloom should feed for 2 weeks at 3 teaspoons. The solution I am adding holds like 2 ml Bloom and the Ripen I am hoping for bulk. I think it is also a pre-flush. I am not concerned with flushing short of timing using the nutrients up. I have the Kleen product more for soil reuse so can do it anytime.. This feels close 11 weeks. 11 should be dark time.
	21	I think I figured something out. I am watching the pistils turn inward and amber. Then looking at Trichomes for cloudy then 20-30% amber. (THC degrades further during cure so maybe include this in calculations.) I have two deficiencies. One, I think is light bleaching. The other I am not sure. Something bothering me has been yellowing leaves. I am realizing the plant is nearing the end of bloom so I started thinking this is where she steals nutrients from fan leaves to throw to the buds. I am getting a microscope for the phone to monitor trichome maturity. I believe I am flushing from here. I repeat, not to influence the weed, but to clean up the soil for reuse.	.5

	23	I watered to 35% runoff 3 ML Liquid Seaweed and 5 ML GH Kleen. To 1 gallon water. I ran the whole gallon through the pot and test run-off PH @5.72. The solution measured 6.3 going in. I tied down a few colas to expose light to the entire stem. I removed damaged leaves and some yellowing. LOL > I saved the stems for the new infuzer on the way to mix with the trim when we get there.

Week 10	26	Running a gallon of water with 4ml Kelp and PH 6.3, PPM 200. Then measuring runoff to see if pot ppm gets lower from feeding and washing away. ph6.5, ppm 1100. No change. Nothing to do but watching bud size and trichomes.

	30	I'm letting her go into week 11. I am partly cloudy. I started peeling the buds open a little to snap pics of the calyxes. They are close to cloudy mostly. I see some nodules that remind me of what I thought would be hermi pods. It is pretty late into the grow so I am hoping it is something normal. Each has 2 pistils coming out. I think I have pics. The pics are blurry. Antway I also tied all the tall colas down to open the canopy. The longest I hope to leave the plant is Wednesday or Thursday. I will get another pic with the microscope of the questionable.
