A Crackin' run

With all the turbulence, my plans have changed. Plan was to head south for the winter, but with all going on, and a poor performance from the tent my last round, (photos, and genetics were meh) I kinda need another round out sooner rather than later...

So, so that I can be done early February and maybe still get out of here for a couple months, this will be a run of Mephisto Cracks.

1 sour crack
4 Sam's Crack (these are/were small and light brown, not holding my breath that they pop)
3 White Crack

1 CDLC & 1 Super Orange Haze started as well on the chance I don't get any of the Sam's crack to come up.

6 spots, 3 gallon bags. Will be running Nectar for the gods #4 soil, and this time instead of running a modified Roman regime, I'll be using just Oneshot with some Gia, Demeters and Herc. If things look good, I may try and kick in the Bloom Khaos.

Trying to cut the "cost per run" here. The end product is phenomenal, but I'm dropping close to 300$ a round for nutes in a 4x4.

Day 49.
Temps- day 80 rH 50%
night 74 rH 60%
Things really filling in now. These ladies have been an absolute pleasure to have around... (if you like heavy girls that like to eat!) Not one complaint from any of them. This is the 3rd nch and GT I've run, and the 2nd hbh. All were big feeders before, taking what I was willing to mix, but this round, am trying to push... not seeing any sign of overfeed at this point. Next feed will start pulling the Medusa's Magic, and dropping the N available. That Bloom Khaos is magic stuff if used correctly.

On the frustrating side... have been germinating hot pepper seeds now for over a week (Chocolate Reapers). I know the hot ones take a bit, and all still look healthy, but would like to see a tail pop here pretty soon.

Day 51.

Getting some purpling of some leaf stems. At the levels I'm pushing, am going to up the Demeters Destiny to the same levels as the ghia as recommended on pg 62 of the nectar bible. So 15ml per gallon.

Big girls, filling in fast.

Day 52. Ordered a dehumidifier last night. Normally I don't run into too many issues, but I'm packed up pretty tight... house is sitting at 30ish %, outside it's been pretty wet, reading 75 to 95%. Tent has been sitting at about 60% lights on, am assuming that's popping up 10% or so lights out.

Ladies all pointing their leaves to the light.

Chocolate Carolina Reaper seeds... been sitting on one of the COBs to keep the seeds at 80*.

About 10 days now... am seeing what looks like tap roots starting to show thru the seed hulls.

Day 56. Dehumidifier came in yesterday, works like advertised... am dialing it back up a bit. Using in the room, not the tent. Things running smoothly at this point. Have put in an order for 1 at each of the following. Ghia Mania, Athenas Aminas, Herculean Harvest & BK (that one I was on an older bottle).

So at the levels I'm running, you'll need the following amounts to get through 4 plants.
1qt Medusa's magic
2qt Ghia mania
1qt Demeters destiny
2qt Athenas aminas
1qt Zeus juice
1Gal &1qt Herculean harvest
1qt Bloom Khaos
1qt Olympus up
1qt SLF 100

Here's the girls.

Dehumidifier is in the middle under canopy, set @ 55% above canopy is 42-45%.

DAY 59

Backing off the Medusa's down to 5ml per gallon. Ghia upped to replace that.
Girls eating everything I feed... not an opportunity for a "water only" day at this point. I think they'd take the bucket away and beat me with it if I tried.

Am hiding the food at this point...
God help me if they find out about the kitchen...
:smoking:

Other than the VERY purple stems, am pleased with this run. Am feeling I'm going to be well over my goals of 1.00 a gram. Looks like I may break 2gpw at this rate, guessing by what has come out of this tent in the past, I'm looking somewhere around 900 to 1000 grams.

Temps 75 lights out, 82 to 85 lights on.
RH stable at 45%. Lights on or off.

Day 62

Sent an email off to OCG over the weekend regarding the purpling stems. The following is their reply.

Hi Arthur, got the photos and plants and garden are looking great. I noticed the purple stems that you where mentioning. This can be caused by a couple of things outside of the genetics that are there out their like you mentioned. Outside of that, it can be a Phosphorus deficiency but with how your plants are looking and the feed that you are giving them this should address this. Temperature is the next thing to look into either to cold or to hot has been known to cause this. You could boost your Herculean a little or if you had other Nectar Products that have a Phosphorous load incorporating them. At day 59 and how they are looking I wouldn’t stress to push them to hard one way or the other. With 30 days left I would keep my feed at the levels you mention until flush as the slurries show they are eating it up. Happy Gardening!

Oregon’s Constant Gardener

Temps are pretty rock solid at 82 lights on and 75 lights off, so I don't see it being a temp issue.
So... at this point, we will continue at the current levels.

DAY 66 things on track...still a bit worried about being down and dry by the 8th of next month. At least that is the big worry on this run... at least I'm not seeing what look like P&K issues that in reality were water alkalinity issues.
(Really helped to see Scott O. Nectars owner (the Beard) working on resolving the exact same issue for a couple commercial grows).
Here I am a couple weeks till harvest, and the plants look great.

Need everything down and hanging by the 20th to maybe the 25th. Son is getting married on the 8th of May, and I'll be gone for about a week... need it in jars at least, I can tend to the burping in the 5th wheel.
