A Crackin' run

With all the turbulence, my plans have changed. Plan was to head south for the winter, but with all going on, and a poor performance from the tent my last round, (photos, and genetics were meh) I kinda need another round out sooner rather than later...

So, so that I can be done early February and maybe still get out of here for a couple months, this will be a run of Mephisto Cracks.

1 sour crack
4 Sam's Crack (these are/were small and light brown, not holding my breath that they pop)
3 White Crack

1 CDLC & 1 Super Orange Haze started as well on the chance I don't get any of the Sam's crack to come up.

6 spots, 3 gallon bags. Will be running Nectar for the gods #4 soil, and this time instead of running a modified Roman regime, I'll be using just Oneshot with some Gia, Demeters and Herc. If things look good, I may try and kick in the Bloom Khaos.

Trying to cut the "cost per run" here. The end product is phenomenal, but I'm dropping close to 300$ a round for nutes in a 4x4.

Ok, so this is what I've run now for close to 2 yrs.

Add in a few other things, Tritons trawl, slf 100 and photosynthesis + on top of all that.

This run I'll be keeping the photosynthesis plus and the slf 100, both work well with the line.
Here's the rest of what'll be used this round. 20201116_190903.jpg20201116_190924.jpg20201116_191021.jpg20201116_191007.jpg20201116_190951.jpg20201116_190936.jpg20201116_190850.jpg

Ran to the hydro shop and picked up 3 bags of #4, some Kelzyme, and something the shop owner asked me to try Circadian Sunrise.

We shall see...

Ok, 6 up. 1 Sour Crack, 3 White Crack, and 2 of my own crosses, Gold Glue X Sour Crack, aka Golden Crack. Sour crack has been transferred to her pot, everyone else will get moved tomorrow. Spent the morning cleaning the tent. Tray is really looking shitty, reflective material peeling, but still retains the spills. Actually impressed, been in this tent close to 4 years, its held up great. Apollo tent, a cheapie.

What are your yields with that regimen?
Normally I see between 600 & 800 grams a run. In 16 sqft. That ends up being a buck a gram, maybe a little less, final cost. Spending a little more than 300 a round in nutes running all that, then 300 in power. This run am hoping to cut the nute cost to right at 100. Can't really do anything about the power. Hoping I don't loose a lot in overall quality by dropping a lot of their bottles this run.
Feel real comfortable running their bottled line.

The quality of the flower is top notch, and, hard to complain about a dollar a gram cost... but...

These are a couple nugs from a run a little earlier, my own genetic project @F2.

You might want to try this Homegrown Microbe Bokashi https://www.homegrownbokashi.com/p/1lb-seed-to-harvest-pro-bokashi-set . $57 and it always seems to be on sale. Black friday 40% off. I've run 20 plants with that and still have more. Super easy to use and best yields I've had. Double what I was getting in coco w/ salt nutes. Even the main stems are huge compared to salts and organics from Build a Soil. They have some seaweed sugar they recommend but I think its just Coots kelp/molasses tea. Also use activated EM1

Given we're gonna be here a while.... been fishing a lot this year. When done the extra worms were coming home and going in the plants. Well, when the last round came down, I retrieved as many as I could, and purchased them a new home. And 600 roommates....Figure I can stop spending money on bait, and... having my own supply of castings will be a money saver in the long run.

Not a lot to see yet. Did have a bit of a brain fart, but seem to have gotten it under control.

After mixing the Kelzime in, I didn't bother to check the pH... I know better.... I just blew it off.... I got bit.
Took the soil pH up to 7.1.... not terrible, but for little ones, eating the diet I've provided, that was locking out N. I culled a couple, yellowing and had a look that I associate with stunted plants...luckily I started extra just to make sure the tent was full, so I'm still @ 6... cracks, all of them. 3 white (in front), 3 gold.(in the back)

What's left looks healthy and improving with each watering. (pH to 6.2 with HH)

What's with the towel? Swamp tech humidifier?

Things seem to be running normally. Front row all white crack from Mephisto. Back row all Gold Glue X Sour Crack (Golden Crack, my own mix). Cull is done, and the one replacement is in. 4 of 6 have been topped & lopped
(6th node, bottom 2 removed). Center rear will get topped next week, RR probably the week following.

Gotta be pushing day 30. There's a little bit of clawing, but all in all, everyone looks to be on track. One of the white crack has a variegated leaf or two, always find that a cool mutation.

Bit distracted this time of year, but things look to be rolling along. Couple shitty leaves, but not bad, and the reason has been attended too. Broke a branch on the youngest gold crack... not like me at all. So I bent her over in that direction, she'll be a little shorter, but figure she will have a week or so alone in the tent, so not really concerned.

Santa brought me an e-straw, Inhalco toker, seems like a nice unit, will keep ya'll updated on that.

Roughly day 40ish. Finally seem to have the pH down where it needs to be. Yesterday the girls all came out of the tent for a defoliation and a little personal attention to each feed and watering. Had one in the back that was WAY light. Top dressed and ran each to 20% runoff, then moved everyone back in. Best looking posture they've had this run, everyone is praying.
