This will document the life and times of of a double grape bred by mephisto from Canadian Autoflower that my girlfriend dubbed with the name Dolce Gabana. This was done at the same time as the 4 assed monkey. Which until just recently I hadn't been able to fully understand some of the issues I had had but that's because I got complacent as I had things dialed in decently with the bottled water and smaller containers I had been using before I changed a couple things, by a couple things i mean everything from medium to nutrients and lights and I have learned a lot from both these experiences and people on this sites advice both direct and indirect. Most of my issues actually stemmed from water quality and excessive salts therein. I got complacent and stopped using my ec/ppm pen at really the time I ought not to have most but have seen the errors in my ways and have corrected it going forward. That will be documented when I do further journals and catch up with present time. I have decided I might skip the two I have of strains I have already done not to clog up the site any and to get current with the others. I look forward to doing active journals so I can receive input and implement in live time. Anyways on to this particular leg of the journey it was as all mephisto I've done solid genetics it took a lot of abuse and still produced quality results considering and in some regards period. With the recent revelation of how bad my water was its amazing to me still. (No excuses I got complacent because of previous efforts and wasn't paying attention to my water quality pH yes ec and ppm no and I learned from it.... The hard way lol) The plant ended up doing not too bad considering and being pretty decent smoke, still nice and frosty and tasty I just prefer the terp profile of the 4 assed that ran alongside this one more. Thanks for taking the time to look feel free to comment and share any ideas and advice that will help me going forward. I have been growing for about 20 years on and occasionally(and sadly and regrettably) off. Started out as a punk kid getting into my dad's stuff until a friend of his gave me and my cousin some seedlings and I never looked back. When I got old enough my old man taught me how he did things which was all old school and soil. Taught me many a valuable lesson but mostly looking back really just know what you're growing in and "if you think it's done give it a week" when I first started out. Things have changed so much in the cannabis world since then. I started doing indoor about a year or so before it became legal for a friend of mine who had gotten his acmpr to grow a small amount he was having trouble so I helped him out. What a journey that led me on all across Ontario for lights and tents and clones and nutrients. I met so many good people along the way and as with anything in passionate about I read and want to learn more and get better. Which eventually led me to this great community of people and wealth of information. I am privileged to be a part of. I plan on being more and more involved in the community as I am grateful for what has been created here and all I have learned and will going forward. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to go on this journey with me in any small way or part I appreciate you.

Nice grow! would love to know the dry weight.
Hey thanks for checking in. It wasn't my biggest harvest due to the issues that I think I got a handle on again but I got 86g dried flower like 40-50g of that being the nicer stuff. So it wasn't bad I've done a couple and they always bush well if I keep an eye on my ec or if anyone does I suspect they could and would get at least that or more.

I feel you bro. I'm currently growing 2 double grapes that I've managed to ruin I think my lights burned them and nute burn but I'm not 100% sure. Just hoping I still get a decent amount and don't run into the same problems again. Messing up is really depressing when you look at some of the great grows around here with monster buds. I'm sure we'll get there eventually though.

Yea for sure we will!! we are in the right place I figured out my issues mostly and I did about the same with another double grape I wasn't going to journal only because I wanna get the ones I still have on the go up. Plus I don't believe in losses only lessons and get better from here. It's a blessing in ways to get some mistakes out of the way earlier on in the journey as we will know when something is happening in the future and be able to deal with it quickly. Living something can be the best way to learn I'm sure half of the guys on here doing amazing have had issues or grows they were less happy about. We are in the right place if we wanna get better and get help and since we are here I am sure we both want to improve and will for sure. I'll be posting my toofless alien soon maybe tonight/tomorrow then up to day journals. If you have any journals I will check into them when I have a second.

Using my ec pen and checking runoff and what I'm putting in completely changed the game for me. I didn't have to do it when I used distilled water and different nutes as I had it worked out decent for actual soil. But the pen is so cheap and I had it I wish I had been using it all along would've avoided some headaches.
