Holy fuck 26 days later & the experiment Candyman #3 cutting actually roots! 
*knock on wood* I’ve had 100% cloning success. Let’s go for 1000% and see if I can get the one in the last pic (Candyman #1) to not only root, but actually start growing some nodes. 
Update I got rid of Candyman ‘D’ but still not 110% sure about # 3 being male so I’m leaving it be for now
