I don’t think I included this info on the first page so for those of you who don’t know, Candyman is sour grapes x Pakistani critical Kush & these are regular seeds so I will be taking clones & looking for a mother. I will remove the males, hopefully only 1 because I just planted 3 seeds (next fun I will do a bigger pheno hunt)
#3 was stunted from the start do do bad soil. I had to transplant her to a different pot & now she’s flying.
Today I topped Candyman #1 & ‘D’ and I am attempting to clone them @ same time. We will see how it goes. From first glance I don’t think #1 will make it do to the fact that it is already starting to droop. Again time will tell.

Candyman #1 Top Dress

Candyman #1 was showing signs of calcium deficiency so today I top dressed with dr earth 222, foliar sprayed & watered with 90ppm of cal mag pH 6.3

Shoreline clones

#1 is doing a lot better the day after

I can’t believe it Candyman clone number one actually rooted! & in 10 days @ that :woohoo1: It was looking rough the first 2 hours after the cut, but he/she made it through

Today I cloned #3 & cleaned her up a bit. I wonder if I can get that small cutting in pic 2 to root by just leaving it as is in the water bottle :confused1: We shall see. It’s so small, it would be amazing if I could some how get it to root :weed: Also planning on flipping soonish (after recovery)

#3 did the same thing as #1 after taking cutting. I don’t think this one will make it either, but let’s hope it surprises us like #1 did. Also #1 is going to be female :hump::smoking: & the other 2 are still not showing yet

Candyman Clone 1 problems

2/2/21
It does not appear to be Hemp russet mites or broad mites I have scoped and have not found a single bug. Also light is @ 20” & 82F so not heat stress. Could PH cause this to occur? The only thing I could think of is earlier this week my water was coming out of the tab a little funny. I randomly decided to smell a gal. jug of water after I filled it up out of the tap & good thing I did cuz caught it smelled ‘soapy’ I shuck up the water and it bubbled up, so I am immediately poured it down the drain and continued to rinse out the jug until it was no longer soapy. Im thinking a gal jug slipped by before I caught the problem. I am in city water so maybe they added too much chlorine? Which Brings us to today, could the wonky water from earlier this week cause these type of symptoms? I’m in ffof & don’t pH. Normally my city water sits at .28 EC @ pH 7.6 Should I do a pH flush & re-inoculate with bennies or avoid flushing @ all costs? Maybe a different pest?

2/6/21 i’m thinking one of the gal jugs of funky water got through because today she is looking better. I don’t have any other explanation does anyone else have any insight?

Candyman Clone #1 Improving

My clone #1 definitely seems to be improving. At least I think. I’m just glad it was not a Hemp russet mites or any bug for that matter :joy: My fingers are still crossed though. I’m not confident that I am 100% out of the woods just yet. I would really like to know what caused this in the first place that way I could have a better understanding for future reference. :weed:

Updates

It looks like she’s pretty much made a full recovery. I believe it was the water, I have no idea which is frustrating.

I can tell these are gonna be some big thick ass roots already! :hump: Took a lot longer than the others, but I didn’t give up, I had faith:biggrin:

Candyman’D’ & 3 are both males :crying: Gonna get rid of them & the clones and flip to flower soon!

Clone 3 Experiment

Holy fuck 26 days later & the experiment Candyman #3 cutting actually roots! :d5: *knock on wood* I’ve had 100% cloning success. Let’s go for 1000% and see if I can get the one in the last pic (Candyman #1) to not only root, but actually start growing some nodes. :weed:Update:weed: I got rid of Candyman ‘D’ but still not 110% sure about # 3 being male so I’m leaving it be for now

Clone 3 Experiment Continued

1000% success :hump: I can’t believe it actually worked, not only did it successfully root it looks like it’s going to start growing new nodes!
