Let The Flowering Begin...
Brooklyn Sunrise update.
Ok what's been happening the past two weeks. Let's see Brooklyn Sunrise has remained at 11 inches while Purple Gorilla is threatening all sorts of drama.
OK here's shots from the past two weeks, of mainly Brooklyn, I'll add another page for the Gorilla. This one just stopped at week 4 with no growth spurt, first time for me, she looks like a potted plant. Anyhoo these shots are in date order from the past couple of weeks, I did a couple of major defoliations but not much since due to not much growth, did a bit of cleaning up the undergrowth today and stretching the branches a bit more open, but there's not much more I can do. Gonna wait and see what happens now. Looks like she might be very chunky.
I have also just started using Green Planet Massive the past week, seeing as I'm changing over to GP from GH as I can't get GH easily any longer. My pH experiences are against the norm, I start out trying to keep them at about 6.2 and they keep drifting down to 5.5 and I then bring them back up, then after a few days that stops and the pH remains stable. Not sure what to make of this because as plants use up the nutrients pH should go lower not higher, but I can't argue with what I see.
Both Brooklyn and Gorilla are at exactly the same early flowering stage even though they are very different types of plant and they were started at different times but somehow they are in perfect sync, so I'm wondering if there are hormones being shared in the common reservoir. Just something I'm thinking about.
