After soaking the seed for 24 hours, it was germinated using the wet paper towel method. Soon there was a 2 cm tap root, which went into a rapid rooter. In about 48 hours, the seed had germinated about the surface with the shell intact.
Day 1
In about 24 hours after germinating, the 1st set of true leaves appeared. The seed shell was still stuck to the cotyledon, which I gently pried away using a tweezer.
