I'm starting my first indoor grow this year after experimenting with some hydroponics / aerogarden last season. I really enjoyed tending to the plant and watching the changes as it went into flower. For this grow, I'm starting out fairly small and just trying to enjoy the process along the way and not experiment too much. I live in a desert / dry climate here in AZ, so I battle temps and have to think more about humidity control.
The grow medium I decided on was a rough 50/50 Coco / Foxfarm Ocean forest soil and perlite. I'm amending some worm castings to this mix and going to use that for top feeding these girls. One thing I don't want to struggle with on this grow is guessing when and how much to feed, so I'm setting up 2 auto pots (3.9 gallon) with air domes. I'm going to see if I can squeeze in a third 5-gallon air pot but likely will have to move that around as they start to veg.
Here's what I'm starting with so far and I'll add pictures as I go:

Here's what I'm starting with so far and I'll add pictures as I go:
- 2x4 Vivosun grow tent
- ViparSpectra P2500
- AC Infinity Cloudline S4 (exhaust)
- Vivosun 6" Inline duct fan (intake)
- Terranium Humidifier
- Hurricane clip-on fans (2)
- Autopot 2-part watering system
- Inkbird humidity / temp controllers
- Govee Indoor Hygrometer (bluetooth)
- Kasa smart outlet plugs
- Florflex nutrients (starter kit)
May 28th
- Sprouted seedlings in smaller ceramic cups and transplanted into solo cups
- transplanted two solo cups into the 3.9 gallon auto pots (50/50 coco/soil)
- installed an upgraded exhaust fan on June 6th
- Mixed up a gallon of V1/V2 floraflex and top fed the autopots; they were measuring moist and the top layer was drying out over time. Increased watering over two days.
- Turned on the two auto pots with a full reservoir of water
- Fed the air pot with the same nutrients
- Hooked up the air domes for the autopots, set them on the same light schedule
