You might be asking what happened to the previous 3 grows. Maybe.
For this grow, I”m growing some Mephisto 3 Bears OG and Sour Stomper. As a bonus, there’s an ILGM Super Lemon Haze. This will be my third go with ILGM’s Super Lemon Haze. I like how easy it is, how fast it produces and how many seeds I have left after getting 20 for the price of 10.
The Sour Stomper is another foray into Mephisto’s genetics. My previous grow was a Double Grape. That’s in the jar curing right now. That one produced pretty well (for me) at 72 grams. I just wish the buds were tighter. More on that later.
The 3 bears OG might be what I am looking forward to the most. Can’t wait to glue my azz to the sofa with it.
This grow will be in organic composting soil. I’m using Happy Frog with Nature’s Living soil amendment in the lower third in 3 gallon cloth pots. I left a few inches of room in the top to top dress with Ocean Forest. In my previous grows, I supplemented with the Fox Farm liquid nutrients. I will likely do that with this grow as well. The water here is very hard with pH between 7.9 and 8.2 so I moderate the water with vinegar for a target pH of 6.5.
This worked really well in the last grow. I could have started supplementing sooner and think I didn’t water enough. I was too worried about overwatering. As that grow went on, I noted how the plant only progressed when I watered, so I watered more. As I mentioned earlier, the buds were a little light. I suspect that I didn’t have enough airflow as well.
These seeds all went into germination on Oct 12. All 3 sprouted with 3 bears and the Haze coming up in 2 days and Sour Stomper coming up in 3.
