Earthbox + Buildasoil Method + Twenty20Mendocino's Whiskey Zulu & Triks

Blog details

Setting up a new blog for personal notes & documentation on my next grow, a run for the Twenty20 Mendocino '22 grow & show.

Strains:
  1. Whiskey Zulu from Twenty20 Mendocino
  2. Triks from Twenty20 Mendocino

Configuration:
  • 5x5x6.5 indoor tent
  • HLG 350R
  • Earthbox containers
  • Coast of Maine Stonington Blend + BAS amendments

I'm continuing down the organic road in this run; but with a few key changes:
  1. Coast of Maine Stonington Blend soil - Because I had 3 ft^3 of it. This will be my base medium; top dressed with a few amendments.
  2. Buildasoil Schedule - With a few minor adjustments, I am following along with the BAS schedule.
  3. Cover Crop - also from BAS.
  4. Earthbox caster kits! I don't know why I didn't buy the kit for my first EB, but having these things on wheels makes life a lot easier.
  5. Humidifier upgrade - Got a new unit (Believe it or not from BAS) which I'm finding maintains humidity more consistently than the one I had before.
  6. Shop vac. Not having a wet/dry vac was a big pain in the ass my last grow. Hoping to keep a tidier tent this run.

Looking forward to sharing the journey! Thanks for joining me - and any wisdom you might lend.
