AutoPot Grow 1

Blog details

First time using AutoPots. I bought the 2 fabric pot XL system over a year ago and it’s been on a shelf in my grow room since. Finally decided to covert. Until now I’ve always grown in soil or a coco/soil mix and hand watered.

I’m using Mother Earth’s coco/perlite mix since it comes in 70/30 ratio (easy) and GH Flora trio nutes plus Cal Mag and hydrogaurd. No pebbles or any other substrate (seems useless) no airdomes (also seem useless)

I originally popped a GG#4 and a Hindu Kush on June 21 in styrofoam cups then moved them into the AutoPots on July 4th. I hand watered from above twice then activated the system on July 19th. The GG was a beast from the jump, she GSD 5 nodes in 10 days. The Hindu Kush was healthy but not as big and didn’t take to the AutoPot system. She slowly died. I popped a White Widow on July 27th, moved her into the system on August 14th.

This is the 10th week of veg for the GG, the flower tent is almost available but not soon enough. She loves the AutoPot system. Super healthy so far the entire grow. I refill the reservoir every 5-6 days.I was ph to 6.0 but I had to add ph down every day it seemed like so I started setting initial ph at 5.8 abd it rides up to 6.1-6.2 by the time I refill. So far that seems ok, we’ll find out come flower. I haven’t even opened the seal on the ph up yet.

Topped the GG above 4th node, manifold her out wide.Been having good success using these boards to really open plants up. Used a 18” board on a auto then again on a photo grow I’m finishing. This girl is trained on a 24” table top. She’s 3ft wide now and out grew my veg tent. She’s in a unfinished closet in my basement for the time being. When we hit the flower tent I’ll pull her down some more. Going to give her the entire 4x4 then flower the White Widow in my 2x4 veg tent with a couple Purple Kush I also have going but they aren’t in AutoPots.
Blogs/Grow journals kinda hosed on this site….but ima post the new pics
