This entry will detail the life of a 4 assed monkey my girlfriend has named Dixie Kong. This is a other journal that is completed before I start it. This strain is one of my favourite mephisto strains I've grown and this plant was the tastiest auto I've done beautiful terp profile. One of my favourite terp profiles in all the weeds I have smoked reminded me of the ice cream cake photo I did. Anyways this one got a little hairy as we as really everything at this point in time did. Not all W's but no losses only lessons. Week 1

Screenshot_20210113_193654_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pics from day 2, 4 and 7 just a little water no food and not a lot of excitement after it breached the soil. But the train is a rollin'. Screenshot_20210113_193654_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_193643_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_193628_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 2

Screenshot_20210113_194952_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 11 and day 14 plant coming along well still no feeding yet. She is coming along ok though. Still nothing too exciting going on but still chugging along. Screenshot_20210113_194952_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_194938_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 3

Screenshot_20210113_195433_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pics from day 17 and day 21 one before and one after its first feed at about half strength likely bit less. I use staples to help tuck leaves and such I have started doing this by this point the plants do really like the medi one and now that I'm on my ppm and ec all the time they are going to do even better for me plus they are an organic nutrient line and I kinda prefer that over some of the others I have used previously. Anyways she is moving along well at this point. Screenshot_20210113_195433_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_195420_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 4

Screenshot_20210113_205245_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pics from day 22 and day 28. Things are still mostly OK at this point for her just plugging along getting light, light training mostly leaf tucking. Nothing too exciting to see at this point. Screenshot_20210113_205245_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_205219_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 5

Screenshot_20210113_205704_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 32 and day 35. Another feeding which it liked at the time but was probably too strong in hindsight. Anyways chugging along with some preflower being trained a bit more at this point then previously. Screenshot_20210113_205704_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_205727_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 6

Screenshot_20210113_210151_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 32 and 35 progressing fairly well through flower. It wasn't as affected by the bad watering habits as the others that were running alongside this girl. Really was a pleasure to grow even with things not being quite like I wanted them to be she did well and wasn't fussy considering.

Week 7

Screenshot_20210113_210757_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from day 43 and 49. She got a flush because I realised that I wasn't getting the runoff I needed and was approaching a lockout. She was still pushing out the flowers at this point even with it being afflicted a little bit by my bad practices. Week 8

Screenshot_20210113_211608_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from the 53rd and 56th day. Still pushing through bulking up. By this point it had started to kinda put off a lovely sickly sweetness. Another week closer to done.Screenshot_20210113_211608_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_211637_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 9

Screenshot_20210113_211952_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pics from day 58 and 63 it also moved environments at this point so likely went under different lights as well. Since I run perpetual I am pretty sure one tent was getting too full so I moved the most mature plants out to make some space.Screenshot_20210113_211952_com.unlogical.jane.jpgScreenshot_20210113_212012_com.unlogical.jane.jpg

Week 10 and the end of the roller coaster

Screenshot_20210113_212453_com.unlogical.jane.jpg
Pictures from 66, 69 and 70 when she finally got the trim and chop. Was honestly smelling beautiful in the dark tent. It got dried at a decent rate and was up until the toofless I just did my favourite autoflower plant I've ever grown to date at this point. Very glad I got the beans from Canadian Autoflower. I have been growing for about 20 years on and occasionally(and sadly and regrettably) off. Started out as a punk kid getting into my dad's stuff until a friend of his gave me and my cousin some seedlings and I never looked back. When I got old enough my old man taught me how he did things which was all old school and soil. Taught me many a valuable lesson but mostly looking back really just know what you're growing in and "if you think it's done give it a week" when I first started out. Things have changed so much in the cannabis world since then. I started doing indoor about a year or so before it became legal for a friend of mine who had gotten his acmpr to grow a small amount he was having trouble so I helped him out. What a journey that led me on all across Ontario for lights and tents and clones and nutrients. I met so many good people along the way and as with anything in passionate about I read and want to learn more and get better. Which eventually led me to this great community of people and wealth of information. I am privileged to be a part of. I plan on being more and more involved in the community as I am grateful for what has been created here and all I have learned and will going forward. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to go on this journey with me in any small way or part I appreciate you.

Nice looking cactus you've got there. She's nearly identical to the structure of a cdlc x chem from mephesto I took down a few months back. They don't always push out the biggest yields, but mephesto always has that great frost, gotta love em!

How was that strain? I want to do more cdlc and cdlc crosses. I haven't personally ran any yet but I would like to, as it seems its one of many peoples favourite strains from mephisto.

It was an amazing cross, so flavorful and potent, plus the nugs were dense boulders. Can't remember which of these 2 it was, the other is white chem from mephesto, but they both had such similar structure. The white chem was by far the tastier of the 2.

They look beautiful. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for both of those strains. Thank you for sharing the pics. Site always finds a way to keep me motivated to do better. That's all I needed for a push today.
