Indoor Zambesa problem strains

Hey guys we're working with Zambeza on a possible retest schedule with beans shipped directly from them. I know there have been a few theories on what happened with the seed here but the easiest way to dispel concerns would simply be to retest the seed. If we see the same problems again we'll have to draw some conclusions based on two consecutive tests. If we DON'T see the same problems again, well that raises some new questions then for sure too.

I agree completely, I posted the same in my thread, for all the hubbub, I don't believe its their fault. But only another test with fresh seed will tell the story.

@Waira We are not convinced to the radiation being a culprit here. It was barely pointed as some potentiality, we never assigned the problems to this definitely. :pass:
It could have been climate conditions as well or dozen of other factors which we are unable to determine now without physically having a proof of what happened or someone who travelled among the seeds.

We cannot say conclusively what was the cause of the problems. Seeds from the same batches have been distributed to our testers around European countries and we have not encountered wide scale problems like it occured here.
That is why we are able to belive and consider possibility of the package with seeds being jeopardized in the shipping process.

Some of the growers received the seeds outside of the original package wrapped in paper envelopes not resembling our packaging and its safety level.
For the future test we will want to make sure that the seeds arrive to the testers in their original and unopened packages. Hopefully we will be able to achieve better results :bighug:

:toke: I understand that Z', but it keeps coming up, so it was time to quash it once and for all,... And as a scientist, I can't completely discount some freak "accident" accounting for these results, but there are other more plausible causes,...

--- now this, is grist for proof! Are there any pics of this repackaging/swapping from our testers? It begs many questions,...:eek1:

As someone removed from the drama, I just dropped NYC Diesel and SSH.
A test bean is just that, a test. Not a free jar of bud.
It seems likely that a problem exists, whether it's a shipping or a genetics issue will I'm sure be resolved quickly.
What I'm impressed with is that the testing is doing what it was meant to do, identifying potential strong points and weak points in any given strain.
As with all my grows, I'm excited to see what happens!

Sounds wicked ! Keep us informed about the progress and supply with data if possible. :pass:

Here is one we could find right away, we recall someone else mentioning receiving the seeds in a paper envelope if we are correct.:coffee2:

A couple years ago I ordered a 5-pack of the Auto Jack Herer.. Only 1 sprouted, promptly got mold and then I found 5 seeds in the plant when I harvested it, after losing about half to mold.. I germed the 5 where only 4 sprouted.. Grew those out to lose 3 of the 4 to mold, and the last plant was only about 9" tall.. It was a bit disappointing because the bud that I DID get, was good!!!
