Great minds think alike,i was starting on my greenhouse today.The plans are fast and loose but i got a good ideal what i,m doing.I,m going to add a couple cold boxes for winter veggies.Hey J those NL # 5 would be right up your ally.I plan on making some seeds from those.I tried a little sample before i cobbed them.LOLIt is as good as i remember.I had to run those on 12/12 with my big girls.Next time i grow those they will get a proper veg time.They are fast finishers.Peace please

I,m ready for the Alaska express.LOLMy next light procurement will be more BML s or a cob or two,i have never had cobs before.This old dog needs to learn new tricks.LOL Peace pleaseI'm planning to build a small greenhouse, see how that compares to the solarium. And starting plants under COB lights those will be the new things. I got my soil mixed up it's cooking in the solarium.

The COBs are what made it possible for me, being off-grid, to consider using artificial light at all because of their efficiency...and from what I've seen they perform real well too. Also, I can see me under the right conditions growing out a plant under one in the winter. I made a stab at it but it didnt work too well...just bad timing, the winter decided to get a little rough.
You are in a very unique situation.I think cobs is the way i will go,@hecno has a real nice cob setup.Peace please

The heavy rains knocked them around till I put a roof on them , and I did one real dumb thing 
after the rains stopped I over feed them and burnt the tops , coming good now , I won't start again in march , way to much rain . I'll get photos for you when the rain stops .

Man those things got big didn't they! Nice work on the greenhouse, you're giving me some ideas. Have to get mine up here pretty soon just trying to get some other stuff done. The weathers ok been working outside on another project I need to finish. Looking good there bud!!.
