UPDATE: Day 61 ... (for some, but not all)

LIGHTING:... The Sun

NUTRIENTS:

Advanced Nutrients Final Flush @ 1.5 ml/l

* * * F L U S H I N G * * *

COMMENTS:

Made the decision to call it a day and pull stumps.
Time for the flushing period.
For some it will last 5 to 7 days, for others it might extend to 14.
Again that cliche - there is no real downside - to an extended flush.
It also gives me the option of shortening it if the weather suddenly turns crappy, or some other unforeseeable pseudo apocalyptic event turns up.

What's the worst that could happen?
A plant goes 14 days in flush, might end up a little smaller, but is detoxed to hell and tastes great?
That's a downside I can handle.

Anyway - here's some huge kick ass photos.
Huge because;
1. I couldn't be arsed editing them smaller, and
2. The girls deserve it.

Those plugs where well melted... :point:

Looks like airpots dont really push the performance too much since i see you using them besides regular ones- doesnt seem to be less whats growing there. How do you thinkt about that @Yozhik ?
I was thinking about them lately but could not make a decision
:goodluck:

This grow might not be a fair measure of the 30 litre Airpots, given all the other issues I have had in this grow.
In my previous grows, I used the Airpots, and I liked them.
The root mass is fantastic.

I haven't had an opportunity to do a true comparison, with the same strain being grown in both, as an A/B side-by-side.
That might be the only fair way to draw any conclusions.

Having said that - do I think they're offer value for money over normal 30l pots?
Probably not.

Afterall, these are autos with a short growing cycle, that go germination to harvest in 60-70 days.
Maybe you'd need photoperiods, with a longer life cycle, to truly see the benefit of air-pruning?
Or maybe even Auto strains with a longer life cycle.

As you mentioned the root mass is well developed, the concept of the airpot is likely seen as understood by myself and the claim is they bring more root mass- but i could imagine if the roots are cut by air and develop more mass there is more energy needed for this action, too. That could be the reason or the point where it comes back to zero- because one benefit took another ones token, just thinkin loud...
