The one to look out for is the white moth.
It lays eggs, which then turn into stem boring caterpillars.
They literally bore through the bud, into the stem, and DESTROY your beautiful girls from the inside out.
You don't notice them until it's 'game over'.
Of course with this kind of weather, you're always going to get the grasshoppers and crickets and ants and beetles, etc.
A lot of the ground based creepy crawlies hate cinnamon, so that's relatively easy to control.
I have never had much luck with Neem - but apply it anyway.
For the caterpillars, 'Snake Killer' is the one I have.
Going to applying it shortly - more as a preventative - just in case the moths have already landed, without me knowing.
It has a natural bacteria that the larvae feed on, which acts on the gut enzyme, causing it to spasm, and they pretty much starve to death.
Or something like that.
