So what's the biggest yeild that can be attained from UK seed banks
What's your highest yeild what was the set up
Cheers

You've asked a question that has no unique answer.
Autoflower yield depends on several factors, and the most important one is genetics.
Second most important is how much canopy surface area there is.
Third most important is how much light.

A small plant left to grow the way it wants under a mediocre light might yield an oz or less.
A big plant trained in a 4 x 4 tent, and grown with a good light might yield a pound or two.

Obviously diffrent conditions will have the most impact but I'm asking what are the better Stranes with a proven track record for high yeild

Well known members, here and any other forum, reviews or grow diaries can give a real world snapshot that you can collate into breeders advertised characteristics. Breeders have variations as do growers. Kinda like picking pepper out of fly shit.

Training will be your best friend for big yields, aswell as a good seed bank and good genetics. You can check the breeders info on their strains to see which one is the highest yielding. But yeah, there really isnt a good way to determine how much youll get from a plant, theres just too many variables. If you want the highest yields possible look into some XXL strains which are more sativa dominant, and if that isnt enough then maybe look into photoperiods.

If we are only talking about yield, it suggests this is for market. I would not grow autos for market. Couple reasons...
1. Too much genetic diversity in strain to be marketed. I expect gelato to look and smell like gelato...
2. Autos are going to take approximately 90 days seed to cut. Once set up and running I can pull photos every 60 to 65 days. That's an extra round every year by running clones. Yes there is one or two auto strains that can do it in 65 to 70 days. A couple.

A 4x4 can put out 500 too 800 grams auto or photo. From seed auto has the advantage. But if you have room for a veg and flower room, photo is the way to go.

Not for market
I found some 1 lb auto threads and was just interested that's all

There are a few of those. Its really going to come down to your preferences.
The autos I run are not 1 lb monsters. I expect between 4 and 6 oz a plant, many go over that... but the quality is top shelf. I've had a couple real monsters before, couldn't give the weed away... seriously that bad. Most of the real monsters are grown DWC.

I'd stack any of the autos I run up against any photo, their good. The big breeders have worked the gene's enough to where there is really no noticeable traits left over from the ruderelous ansestor.
Smell, taste and high all on point.
I believe Mephisto Sour crack tested at 28%, many others are right up there.

Autos are flippin awesome for a home grower that doesn't want to deal with 2 setups, or light changes or light leak worries. Plant and feed.
