Hi my wedding cake photoperiods are on day 30ish in 1.6 litre pots lights on pretty much 24/7 its a 75w Samsung strip on 50% hanging around 16-18 inches medium is plagron coco 30 % perlite with some clay balls on top 9 pots in total using the full shogun fertilisers line watered every 2nd day
Feed in today 2000ml at 22c
E.c 1.4
Ph 5.7
Runoff 1000ml
E.c 0.4
Ph .6.4
Temps 15-20c
Humidity 50-80%
I'm seeing some yellowing and im not sure if it's from a lack of mag or the ph is drifting up for some reason iv given them a 1.5ml per litre boost of cal mag today to maybe help but I'd like a second opinion from someone

They look good to me buddy slight tip burn on 1 but when your doing 9 you allways get 1 or 2 that don't like as much food as the others. Its hard but I will make different feeds for the hungry 1s and maybe a N boost if seems pale in colour but I like to see a tiny bit of tip burn because it let's e know a plants limits.

hey nelly i dont think that tip being yellow is from burning as its only one that leaf so far anyways and the suspect spot makes me thinks it mag iv been following the chart at 0.5 cal mag per liter i feel they may want some more also the ph rising is worrying me

I only give mine cal mag every 2 weeks sometimes they don't need it, they say you need more with L E Ds but I noticed that with the burbles but not with the white lights. Think your plants look good and hopefully that extra bit of cal mag helps em don't know what to say about the ph other than to drop it back a bit to try get it bk in range i never check run of unless its ill. Im different from most as I feed my autos like they are photoperiods full strength once I'm at 2 weeks

Some really strange numbers here.. Are the numbers in general for all 9 plants or just from one plant in particular? Ph naturally rises as the medium dries.. That's normal.. Are you watering with plain water between feedings? Does the medium dry out in those 2 days? Something is weird here.. My eye test (going by looks) tells me it's either a manganese issue, or just a standard hungry plant. Since you are using a full nutrient line, Im leaning more towards hungry plants.. Let's get to these numbers.. So basically you've got 9 plants in half gallon pots. That's about 4.5 gallons of medium total. A standard light watering schedule is the 10% rule.. 1 gallon of water for every 10 gallons of soil, daily.. The 2000ml you use is dead on in that range, except you are watering/feeding every 2 days. The starting ec is 1.4.. But the runoff ec is .4.. That's hard to explain. I've never seen that large of a gap. .4 is better/lower than some peoples water out of their tap. (That rhymed, lol). Then there is the 1000ml of run off.. That would mean that half of the water you are using is running out of the pots. That usually happens when the medium is compacted or too dry.. The water will run down the sides of the pot first. But even then, the run off ec should be almost the same as it is going in. Or some where close. If you are saying that you water with 1.4 ec, then two days later the run off is .4, that would be much more understandable. I think the issue may be just keeping the medium more saturated.. Once it starts to dry out, the ph rises, and feeding slows or stops. That's when plants start using/moving the nutrients in their leaves, which looks to be happening. I try to trust the plant most, and it's definitely looking hungry. I would just keep the medium moist for the next week or so and check for signs of improvement.

Man, you just summed up my first indoor grow, and I just came to that conclusion myself today after running all the tests and numbers..

to answer some of your points
yes its a mix from all 9 plants
no plain water feedings

so from what your saying i think maybe im under watering them by doing it every 2nd day maybe i should go to watering every day is there any circumstance that you can not water coco to run off every day il be honest im mostly water every two days for all my plants always to 10%+ runoff it used to work for me but lately it seems to be causing me trouble
il raise the e.c a touch and try watering daily see how they look in a few days i have plenty of time to figure it out so il keep this thread updated
thank you for the reply
