Yellow leaves (Eliminating / lowering nitrogen in flower)

I was having an issue with leaves pailing out and turning yellow way to early in flower, I mean within a week of transitioning to bud nutes! Once I had seen enough (buds pailing) I made the call to add 3/4 strength mid veg nutes and everything greened back up and bud growth took off! I do plan to take the veg nutes away in the last week or so, could what I’m doing be counter productive? I mean flower nutes are extremely low in nitrogen, some none at all and the flowering period is not exactly a short time? I’ve read it can effect how the final product smokes / burns which I don’t really believe also thin stocks that can’t hold up bug buds which Is definitely not an issue. Anyone else run their veg nutes late into flower??
Plants are really filling out after the adjustment and all the leaves especially the lower ones are doing great now

Looks good to me eyes. i'm still dialing in this indoor dance. Outdoors, I always taper off the veg nutes and just finish with a bloom nutes for the a couple weeks, then water only for a week or 10 days. Nice grow!

And I like to see the plant using up those sugars in the fan leaves when they are in flower. It's what they do naturally.
