New Grower WW XXL Ready or not?

Hi, so using a dinafem white widow XXL and it is by far the biggest and BEST looking auto i've seen up close.. However it's coming up to the 4 month mark and looks fantastic, trichomes are pretty much all cloudy, as far as I can tell but pistils are still white, a lot of the leaves around the bud are turning yellow and will be a pain in the arse to remove, is there any way to to speed things a long a bit as it's getting too large for my setup.

Don't do anything crazy now and screw up the whole plant bud... best to be patient and let her finish. But 120 days is crazy. Looks like she has a bit longer to me too? Hard to tell with out trichcome pics. On the size problem if she growing too tall check the trichs on the top cola (use a scope OR loop).. if there ALL cloudy that's peak thc levels anyway... snip off the top and let the shorter more under developed go a little longer..those leaves look a little suspect too but I'm no infirmary pro.... someone with more knowledge will be along soon .... Eager to see what they say

Thanks for the reply, I was never sure if it was alright to harvest in parts, do you have experience doing so and will it reduce quality of the rest of the bud? Thank you

It will not reduce the bud quality... if the tops are all cloudy or amber you can chop and let the rest continue to ripen

Thanks I never did it before and took the top a bit late on previous grows, i've tried to take some macro shots but i'm just crap at it and they all blurred, i have been checking through a decent handheld microscope and they are cloudy, do you think it;s worth giving her 24hours of darkness before I take the top or will this stress the lower buds too much?

I don't give mine 24 hrs before chopping.... others do. With a staggered harvest I would not turn the lights out 24 hrs..... probably won't stress too much if she's about to finish she won't hermie and she's probably not packing on too much more weight just waiting on the thc to ripen

Nice pic Dsmile. They look much younger then 4 months tho. I'm growing Dinafem WW XXL myself at the moment and their aproaching day 65, and yet yours look much much younger then mine. Virtually all my leaves have gone to a light green/yellowish color with quite a few from the bottom already after falling off. Looks nice tho, I hope the longer growing time you had gives you a bigger yeild. Any pics of the final product? Im curious to see what I have coming myself

At 120 days and all cloudy, I would take some harvest. Some autoflowers never do amber up much. I harvest in stages most of the time, I was using t5ho lighting and the lower buds were always later than the tops. Sometimes by two weeks. Have you been flushing? I would at least start with plain water if you are wanting things to move along. I flush a little at a time, half gallon at a time, and then test the runoff, when the runoff gets down to about 400 ppm I let her go. Usually within a week the leaves have yellowed alot. Cleans things up and speeds things along. I've had several grows go over 120 days, some phenotypes are quit long winded.

Plain water and cut her light back to 12/12 will make her finish up faster!
