I'll mix a
3.8 cu ft bag of Bx and 2 cups of EWC and throw some beans in that for about 10-14 days in 16 oz cups until a healthy root system is established. Then I will transplant into the mix listed below:

3.8 cu ft Promix Bx
1.5 cu ft FFOF
2.0 cu ft FFHF
1 cup blood meal
1 cup bone meal
1 cup kelp meal
4 cups EWC
3/4 cup dolomite lime
20-30% Perlite

My plan is to use water only from seed to harvest with the exception of 1-2 possible waterings with Budswel mid-flowering for a little boost. My question is,does the transplant mix seem too hot for an auto or just about right?

Thanks

Bone and blood meal are both rather slow acting, so I would suggest you pre mix, dampen it and let it sit for about a month before using. That will give those elements a chance to become activated. This is especially important for the blood meal as it will be needed in veg. Otherwise it will only become available to the plants late in the veg cycle. I would also suggest adding some mychorrizal fungi. While Pro Mix already contains it, the FF products don't so a little more would be useful.
