So I am doing my first ever LED and Auto grow at once, not sure how good of an idea it was to mix these two for a first run for either of these variables. I do have my first grow under my belt which was HPS + photoperiods I got about a QP from 3 plants, so I didn't do HORRIBLE.

Anyway, I am doing a Nirvana Bubbleicious Auto (femmed) She popped March 2nd and I had her under a 6400k CFL for a few days until I dropped her in her jiffy pot into my 2-3 gallon finishing pot under my 240w (actual pulling 155w) LED.

Here is my question, is her Veg stage basically over? I was thinking I would toss her under my dual T8 fixture to beef her up a tad. Or would that be a waste of time and resources? Basically I am trying to get her larger.. I feel like she is too tiny, and I also know that Auto's have virtually no Veg stage to begin with so did I mess this up?

Here she is from 3/27/2012

Thank you in advance for any input guys! :D

:peace:

  • do you have vertical space in your grow area? I think that your plant could take LED at this point, just start it high and lower it according to how your plant reacts and the manufacturer's reccs. I had mine under 200watts of HPS when they were just starting there first set of leaves, but the light was high up and in a cool tube. my .02

yea man I do have a decent amount of vertical space. I already have the LED 15" from the plant. I am asking if I can get the plant larger under a T8 first then switch back to LED? :D

So... double post.. Does anyone think I should put my plant under a T8 to try to make it bigger before she starts blooming? Or should I keep her at 18/6 under my LED panel? Thanks!

Here are some questions that I ask everybody and these are the most important ones that anybody that has a question or problem should include. what type of soil.what kind of nutes and how often are they applied. What is your intake and runoff water ph.How long are lights on. What temp is your grow area and humidity. Are you over watering or under watering. Is ther air circulation.Give us these answers and then well go from there.

I started this girl in FFOF which is loaded with nutes. I transplanted her into simply a larger container with FFOF. As of now no nutes, I was letting the FFOF run its course, then I had some nutes in mind.

Intake Ph is 6.0 or around there. I get it off tap at that, and did my first grow with it no problem. Seems to be ideal for MJ. I have not yet tested run off Ph, I can do that at her next feeding will be in a few days.

I run the light 18 hours and it is off 6 hours. Temperature of the grow area is currently 79.1 with a relative humidity of 31%. The temperature is slightly influenced by the outside temperatures. The hottest I think it can get in there is around 88F and the lowest I have seen it was around 70F.

I am watering the surface.

Yes there is air circulation. I believe a 220 CFM fan for active outtake. Initially I had passive intake but I took two 4 inch fans and spliced the side of my tent and have them sort of working as a weak active intake. Also I have a fan inside of the tent aiming on the lady. So the bottom right of the tent is where all my air is actively and passively entering, it is also the side that my stem strengthening fan is blowing from. And the upper left is where the air is exiting via my 6" ducting that I have attached to my LED pulling heat off the LED and sucking the warm air out of the tent.

It looks like you need to bring the ph up to about 6.8 if your in soil 6.0 is to low . And what do you mean watering the surface ? You want to wait till its completely dry before, watering . How high is your light above the plant ?

It looks like the leaves are turning a light green in spots, which tells me lack of nutes. The girl is almost a month old and usually feeding should have started a couple weeks ago.Give her a high nitetrogen fert but check ph of your water after you add your nutes, and before you water.Get your intake water ph a little higher and check your runoff and see what it is ,If your going in at six your runoff probably will be way to low.Runoff should be above six around 6.4.Add about one tbls of unsulfured molasis per gallon of water and make sure when you water that the entire pot is watered then let it dry out some what before you water again.I would give it a lite feeding with every watering and hopefully she will turn green and start growing. It looks like its getting enough lite because its not stretched out.I don't know anything about led but it should have the veg spectrum running if led's have such a thing.Thats all i can come up with now, so good luck and keep us posted .

Okay thank you guys for the help! I will try this stuff and keep you all posted. Also think I am going to start another Bubbleicious under my T8 set up and keep it there until it starts blooming then switch to my LED tent. :D
