Would these work for an auto flower.

Hello. The first thing you should do is pick a growing style based on your knowledge level, then pick a medium from there.. That bag says that it's coco, biochar, seaweed, with added vegetable based nutrients.. That should be your first red flag. Autoflowers live like 90 days.. They don't need much at all.. I would not try to grow cannabis in a product with vegetable based nutrients pre added to it. If you're unsure where to start, start with a basic medium, like coco or a light soil and learn how they work. But just based on what the bag says, I would not use this for an autoflower or to grow cannabis..
Ik what you mean i spent ages trying to find out what was in the "vegetable based nutrients " and couldn't find a single thing XD that was one of the main reasons I was asking. Second do you know any uk based organic fertilizers than would work so i just add water no liquid nutrients. Cheers for all the help.

Vegetables live a whole lot longer so they are prob slow release fertilizers added into soil! Also some use stuff like urea nitrogen which can be majorly lethal on canna! Way too strong of stuff! Not sure of UK companies but def some dry amendments u can topdress and then grow water only! What I do! US based company but not sure what shipping would be but I have a 25% off code so cost would be cheaper to counter shipping costs!
Company called homegrown bokashi and this is the microbes it makes on top of feeding soil!

Hey so I was thinking of maybe using these:

cheers for the help.

Is this too much npk? or not enough

I'm not familiar with any UK based organics.

MY TAKE ON ORGANICS.
Organic growing is very simple.
Organics is really easy way to grow good quality canna. The biggest problem people have is a "Chemical Grow Mindset". They get caught up in an additive addiction. They think they are not growing properly unless they have 15 things in their compost tea or top dressing. That's not for you or any other organic newbie. With experience, you can add other techniques of growing.

You need just have a full grow with no problems under your belt.

Ya have to start off with quality media. Using the KISS(Keep It simple Stupid) Mindset, I would suggest using Build A Soil and get a water only mix. It probably will need help in flower and most likely too hot for direct plant, that's easy to overcome..............transplant or just plant into a patch of plain potting media. It's an easy method if you're an organic newbie and even more so being a successful organic canna newbie.

Minimalistic organic ingredients:
1. Earthworm castings.........top dress and compost tea.
2. Good quality compost
3. Horticulture Molasses I've used Medina for 30 years $10 gal Simple feed in the water and compost tea
4 Kelp I like Thorvin kelp. Can top dress, but I think best in tea
5. Powdered Yucca........Since you have had problems in watering and dry pockets. Use very sparingly and best used when moisteng your media before you pot it up. You can mix a little in your compost tea AFTER brewing.
Those simple ingredients will grow canna quite well.

Bigger is better on organics. Bigger means more microbes, more roots, more of a buffer for soil temps, soil moisture and soil chemistry.

Learn your pots fully saturated weight. Water S L O W L Y. Water one girl a little and move to another and so on giving time for the water to soak in until they are fully watered.

Try to hit your VPD and the veg and flower stages. As a long time outdoor organic farmer, I've known of VPD, but with no real control of it, it just info. Growing canna is far different.
Know your lights. Learn the specs and make sure not to have too much intensity.

Just a bare bones take on organics. Pay attention to the details and the plant will take care of herself with the environment you gave her.

I hope you find this helpful. I've tried to make it simple as possible, but very effective.

Unfortunately not.. Every plant is different, different types of plants prefer different nutrients at different times, and in different ratios. It's hard to find cannabis specific soils/products because it's still illegal in most places. I see bio bizz used a lot in the UK, but it's not water only. It's probably a good base that you could amend to be water only, but I haven't seen anyone on here do/try that yet. I use a an organic living soil that I just keep alive and amend as needed.. I don't use any sort of bottled nutes, so it's technically water only.. I just top dress if needed. If you want to go the organic route, you will be feeding (amending) the soil with dry nutrients/teas which will in turn, feed the plant. So instead of adding anything to the water, you're it to the soil.. But either way, additions are pretty much necessary at some point.

And yeah, that vegetable based wording could mean anything, lol.. It's pretty vague. But what I do know is that cannabis is a flower, not a vegetable, so better safe than sorry.

That kinda stuff not made for canna is difficult cuz u don’t know what of those ratios is immediately available and what is slow release! Like @Proph said autos go by fast so u need stuff that’s immediately available so it’s there when plants need it! Why soil gets baked before using it so the dry stuff added is ready to be taken up!

Adding this since missed last couple messages but u got access to dr earth veg stuff? That brand will def get the job done!

If not a decent soil base with that bloom stuff plus alfalfa meal and kelp meal plus some dolomite lime should get u all the way with just water! Great white is good mixed into seedling or transplant hole but never used on regular basis mixed into a jug if u even can with it! Not sure only got lil sample myself!

I might be a bit stoned so may have missed the answer but why water only.. thats gonna be difficult for a first effort m8 and thats just the truth.. get 1 bag of any decent light mix soil. £10/£15 in the uk.. is that where u are?? Anyway.. and a bottle of AN Sensi Bloom A and B.. £20.. a fabric or airpot 10/15L.. £5/£10.. and your growing weed. Oh.. and u might need some calmag. Thats all I use to grow decent quality smoke.. other than blinding lights and flat out sorcery.. hahahaha.. fk I am stoned.. good luck bro.

You can get SOHUM living soil here:

I know growers that have used this as there jump start to organic living soil. Then keep it alive with the appropriate additions and timing. I believe the minimum size pot is 5 gallon per plant, bigger is better.
