In-depth

Bag Appeal: ****

Nice deep green color with amber hairs and lots of crystals.

THE GROWTH: *****

This plant suffered from serious pH issues at about 3 weeks. Even stunted it still produced a potent, if small, harvest. I'd call it beginner friendly since it managed to survive my first grow.

THE SMELL: ****

Strong, woody smell reminiscent of fresh cut cedar. Mixed in is a touch of dark fruitiness like dried cherries or raisins.

THE SMOKE: ***

For this test I used a MFLB and bud that had cured approximately 55 days. The smoke is spicy on the tongue and tastes a lot like the smell. Nothing exotic, but overall a nice old-school smoking experience.

THE HIGH: *****

The breeder's notes say this one has an almost narcotic effect, and I'd have to agree. A wave of warmth radiates out from your chest, and for the first 15 minutes or so you get a touch of numbness in your hands and feet. Your mind is calmed and you just find yourself in a nice, warm place. Definitely best smoked when you've got the time to relax and enjoy a couch lock session. Excellent potency that made me forget I was doing a smoke report until 2 hours had passed. I will most definitely be growing this again as well as sampling some of the other WOS Ryder strains.

Awesome man I can't wait to try this along with the other WOS strains great job man

Great review Andy. I grew this strain about 3 years ago and agree with your assessment. Had a few seeds off of it that I recently started but only got 1 plant. Waiting to see if it's a boy or girl.

I also grew some WOS photos this year and got good results from them as well. WOS seems to be a solid seed bank with good genetics.

Great review Andy. Sounds like some good smoke. Enjoy it bro!

I am growing the Afghan Kush Ryder as we speak. Hoping for a slightly better yield with my 400HPS.

I too agree wholeheartedly with your review of the WOS paki tyder...it's really a very potent auto....aamof...that's what we're smoking tonight....Paki Ryder is one strain I keep a small stash of for its 'narcotic' effect....quite stanky after a good cure... It's been on my 'to grow again' list for a couple of years now....

Great review. I was looking for a review on this strain thanks

nice report thanks, got one of these going in soil in a couple of weeks looking forward to the 'narcotic' high! sounds like a real quick one too!:D

Cheers for sharing such a thorough strain review, Andy  I agree with everything you said :gthumb: For me the Pakistan Ryder is an absolute keeper on the grow list: sturdy genetics, it's not easily phased even if you put a chemical pesticide gun on its' head ( I had one that suffered from a gnat attack and even after the chemical attack, it grew relentlessly into a plant with a couple of buds on it, lol). The effect is defo narcotic, some great pain medicine there, and probably a couple of cents cheaper than an auto Purple Kush, heh :)
